Ordered the V8 Vegan burger and Kumara Chips with vegan aoli ($0.50 extra) - totally hit the spot while on a 5 hour road trip. Very appealing looking and great tasting food! I wish I took a photo because it looked so perfect jsjsj

Vegan Options an Afterthought - Edit
There are multiple pattie options and side options suitable for vegans, and mushroom-averse people will be happy to know that the mushroom pattie does not taste like mushrooms! The online ordering options make it difficult to substitute vegan options sometimes, and the only option may be to leave off an ingredient even if a substitution is available. You can clearly indicate allergies via the website ordering system, which is a big plus. The quality of the food had improved a lot, the Palmy franchise used to be awful but appear to have upped their game. Milkshakes are available for vegans too, which is fantastic.

The Best Mainstream Takeout in Town! - Edit
This is our go-to for delicious burgers! Burgerfuel is centrally located and it's typically easy enough to find a parking spot which is a plus. They offer takeout and dine-in options and you can even order online or over the phone and pick up to speed up the process (although they're generally very quick anyway!). The Combustion Tofu is my favourite burger although the V8 is another fantastic vegan option. The Motobite side and fries (potato and kumara) are all vegan friendly if you swap to vegan aioli and they have vegan shakes in three flavours! Friendly staff, quick service, and delicious 'main stream' food!

Cheap burger quality for $12 price - Edit
The bun on the burger was cheap white bread liked you'd get in the US. The patty was pretty smushed prior to eating it. Just wasn't impressed for what I paid for. Good on them for a vegan burger though. Had the soy thickshake and it was the only redeeming part of the meal.
