Serves international meals, natural wines, and daily special which consists of soup, one or two dishes, a dessert and/or starter. Breakfast and brunch on the weekends. Sample menu items such as seitan and rice, nut loaf with gravy, plantan moqueca, casserole, ravioli, and wellington tofu. Sweets include vegan cheesecake, sorbet, acai with berries and granola. Hosts live music. Est. 2016 and became all-vegetarian in 2018. Reported closed June 2020.

Abbiamo preso due insalate diverse, molto gustose e due dolci (cheesecake e mousse) entrambi ottimi! Le ragazze ci hanno servito nonostante fossimo arrivate piuttosto tardi, sono state gentili!

Cosy, wholesome restaurant in a gorgeous location - Edit
I really enjoyed my meal here, but what impressed me even more was the ambiance and location of the restaurant. Nestled in a small square not far from Alfama and Castelo São Jorge, I felt as if I had a really authentically Portuguese experience here. A lot of the more “traditional” eateries in this part of Lisbon don’t seem to cater to vegetarians, so it was lovely to be able to experience that as a veggie, complete with fado music wafting to my table from a nearby bar. I ordered the mushroom and black bean chilli, and it was very tasty, and also seemed quite hearty and healthy as well after eating so many white carbs and fried foods here in Lisbon. I do wish the portion had been a little bigger though! I’d definitely recommend this restaurant, especially if you’re visiting the city as a tourist. Remember to bring cash though, as you can’t pay by card!

Delicious food and excellent service - Edit
We shared a few dishes from the menu, and everything we tasted was really good. The vegan platter to start had loads of different flavours and the lemon, thyme and hazelnut cake at the end of the meal was incredible. The staff were really welcoming, friendly and gave us great recommendations, especially on the different local craft beers! We definitely go here again.

I am vegetarian and I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, but my partner,who is vegan, said the vegan options were not as good as not really creative. Nothing new but fair.

Read moreEverything was very plain.. the main dish was plain rice, avocado on top with vegan shrimps. The rice tasted nothing so it was bland.
The rest was alright..

Escondido num pequeno largo no centro de Lisboa. Um local sossegado que nos faz esquecer que estamos na cidade. Fomos almoçar. O espaço é muito giro, com uma decoração simpática, a música óptima! Fomos servidos com muita simpatia e eficiência. Comemos uma sopa de tomate que estava excelente, comemos hambúrguer de portobello (muito bom) e um tofu que estava saboroso e original. Garrafas de água de vidro 😊! Para sobremesa pedimos chessecake de frutos vermelhos e pêras caramelizadas com aveia (as duas muito boas!!!)

Tout est sympathique dans ce petit restaurant : le cadre, la déco, la petite place... et bien sur la cuisine ! Peu de plats au menu mais tout est frais et savoureux. Les options vegan sont clairement identifiées. Plats chauds, salades, tapas, desserts. Les vins sont bio. Le personnel est très sympa. Un restaurant à recommander !

Tucked away on a quaint and tiny old square, a lovely little restaurant with a vintage flair, offering mainly vegetarian fare with a few enticing options for vegans. I had the lentil and mushroom loaf with pureed potatoes and a salad - beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! This went well with a lovely organic red wine from the Douro region. The young lady serving me was very welcoming, helpful and efficient. This will definitely be on my 'restaurants to be revisited' list!

Food was really good and only veggie or vegan. Special was a tofu , mushroom , baked carrot and peanut offering and was really tasty. Good choice of puddings with vegan sorbet to boot. Highly recommended. Would be Five stars but not listed as veggie. I have tried to change this today

I ordered the Seitan and it was quite good. There isn’t that much to chose from vegan wise but what was offered was good. However my friends ordered burgers and neither of them got a top bun for the burger. We didn’t think anything of it as we assumed that was how it was meant to be but I think they actually just forgot to make two lots of buns because I looked at the photos on here and someone else had posted a photo of the same meal with both top and bottom bun. I could be wrong but it didn’t seem right ..

Bruta Flor is a cool place in an even cooler square. They have clearly marked vegan options but these are mainly hummus, avocado, etc so nothing new or super exciting but very welcomed :) the vegan cheesecake is very good!
