Han reducido las opciones veganas a una pizza con verdura y un plato de pasta con tomate. Han quitado todas las opciones de proteína vegana. Yo solía venir a menudo y no voy a volver. Muy triste.

Definitely one of the best restaurants to go to in Alcalá if you're vegan!
Read moreThe vegan options were varied - they had creamy pasta with vegan chicken and a pesto option (amongst others). It makes a change from the only vegan option being tomato penne!
I had the nuvoletta pizza which was tasty, the base was crispy and fluffy and the vegan chorizo was good. The vegan cheese was a little bit bland, but inoffensive.
There were no vegan desserts, but I reckon the sorbet drinks would be vegan.
The interior was beautifully decorated and the waiters were friendly. The food arrived quickly. Note that the complimentary olives had anchovies in though, so don't eat those!

I also asked about the olives and they said they contained anchovy cream, but they looked empty to me! I've tried to email Bresca in order to find out, as I'll always assume olives without filling are vegan by definition.
