Read moreIt was a nice mixup of different flavors having been to a lot of mock meat and oily vegetarian places around China. We loved the sweet potato greens with the nuts, the taro stuffed tofu skins were uniquely fun to eat, the stuffed tofu pockets had a wonderful taste and a lovely texture, and the glutinous bean cakes were super tasty and nice and lightly sweet. Oh and the mushroom rice was super savory and warm lovely!
Very much so enjoyed our meal here and left nothing on our plates!

Breeze Two Degrees (若无两度C) is a new vegetarian restaurant in the heart of Shanghai, but not really... the location is the exact same as the former VegeGood vegetarian restaurant, but it has new people and menu. Technically though, this is the second location of Breeze Two Degrees, as it originally had a location in the French concession area.
Read moreThe food is light, healthy, and still very tasty. I'd rank it in the top quarter of vegetarian restaurants in Shanghai. The dishes are plated very well even though this is still a casual restaurant. There are also several teas and drinks. The decor is nice, and they have good AC. There are a few tables outside if it's not too hot.
Everything (like most restaurants) is done through scanning on Wechat the QR code on your table, but if you don't read Chinese, the hostess can speak English and place the order for you (phew.)
For English Amap users, it is listed as Ruowu Liang Degree C Garden Vegetarian Restaurant. It is conveniently right at the Madang Road metro/subway station. There is ground level entrance from Madang Road or from the courtyard of the plaza.
Pros: food is tasty, delicious but not too heavy
Cons: everything is in Chinese, but owner speaks English
