When a poke bowl place opened up in the centre of the sunny balmain i wasn’t the only one who jumping with joy. And as i swore to a past boyfriend i would try anything twice, along i went twice. But alas, disappointment after disappointment and i can confirm i will NOT be going back.

But the vegan mayo ruined it during my first visit and on my second visit i had an out of body experience where i realised i could make this $18 bowl of cold corn and noodles at home in about 3 minutes.
Sure. i’ll look enviously at Instagram photos of these beautifully prepared bowls and sure from time to time i may even trick myself into believing i enjoyed the food and contemplate going back. But may this review be a record that i did indeed not enjoy the poke nor the bowl and may my jumps for joy be no more.
