My vego partner loves this bakery so I have visited countless times and don't think it warrants a Happy Cow listing. As you walk in, there's a small display case opposite the main counter labelled "vegan and gluten free options" but none of the sad, pre-packed small pieces of cake spinning around in there have ever been vegan when I've visited. I asked the staff about vegan options and they told me the veggie pastie happens to be vegan, although it's not labelled. If you ask at almost any country bakery, you'll often find that's the case. It's a bog standard, cheaply made pastie, full of powdered mashed potato, a few frozen peas and carrots. Two stars coz the pastry was crisp and it was served hot. It's fine in a pinch.
