Not worth visiting. - Edit

Even speaking Japanese I had a difficult time at this restaurant. I honestly wouldn’t have suggested it to put on this website since the options are so few and the staff is confused when you order. Save yourself the headache and try one of the other great options in Kobe!

not suggested if you dont speak japanese - Edit

Seeing this on the happycow app we thought wede give it a try.while we know very little japanese, none of the waitstaff on duty spoke any english. We decided to give it a shot regardless. We tried to order vegan curry and the waitress did not understand what that meant/ or inquire further. I decided to try an acai bowl minus honey thinking that would be safe. With the first bite i knew immediately they use yogurt in this. We picked some fruit off the top, paid and went to thallo to eat.

Pros: maybe ok if japanese speaker, vegetarian

Cons: no vegan options on menu, dairy in acai bowl, no e

The one option is great - Edit

The vegan curry rice with fried soy meat was delicious. It's not on the menu so you have to ask for it. It's a good place to go if you're with a none vegetarian or vegan. 850¥ for a vegan meal in the centre of Kobe is definitely reasonable.

Pros: Inexpensive, great location

Cons: Only one option

Only one option, inexperienced staff. - Edit

Since there are not many vegan options in Kobe, I was looking forward to eating here. However, despite what the happycow information suggests, the only item available was the soy meat curry.

The waitress didn't seem to know much about veg*n food and didn't even know that the curry was offered. I speak Japanese and went there with my native partner so language wasn't an issue.

When I finally got my meal, they had forgotten to even include the soy meat. I mentioned it to the waitress and she took the food back for them to add the meat. Service was sub-par. My partner's meal came about 10 minutes before mine so I ended up eating by myself while he watched me.

The avocado chia seed smoothie was good. The restaurant's atmosphere is nice although quite hot in the summer. Realistically, I'd give 2.5 stars if possible.

Pros: nice atmosphere. good drink menu.

Cons: inexperienced staff. only one menu option availabl, our meal was poorly timed.

Borabora is close to both JR Sannomiya and Motomachi station. The staff are very friendly and the price is moderate. I had vegan curry rice with fried soy meat (850 yen) and it was great!! Highly recommended.

Pros: Awesome vegan curry, Moderate price, Close to the station
