Vegan options phased out? - Edit
Stopped by here for lunch. The view by the lake is stunning. Sadly no obvious vegan options on the menu so I asked. The waiter checked with the kitchen and I was told they could do me a veggie burger or a ‘salad with vegetables’. I ended up just ordering chips. I also asked for a hot drink and if they did any plant milks such as soya (based on a previous review). Was told no, only cows milk. I am assuming they’ve either changed hands or just decided to phase out their vegan options based on previous positive reviews of this place. Shame as it’s a gorgeous spot.

Tasty lunch options - Edit
Ate a late lunch here recently. Had the jackfruit broodje. It was pretty tasty although a side salad, garnish would have elevated it. The service here really depends on who is working but they are generally friendly and attentive. Have soya milk unlike the other two cafes within the park.

Amazing view with good food - Edit
3 vegan choices in the lunch menu: feta on Bread, feta salad and krokketten on Bread. Young staff that doesn’t know If white and brown ciabatta bread is vegan and not really bothered to ask or look. Food however was good and an amazing view on the lake!

Super tasty dishes. Just let them know your vegan and they make a 3 course menu. Nice portions and presentation. We had the curry and a kid’s croquette with fries and vegan mayonnaise. The dessert was to die for! Brownies and mango ice cream with popcorn and caramel sauce.
