Been here a couple of times. Top end vegan food. The Yum Cha selection emulates the classic animal based dishes extremely well. The food and service is on point and you can eat here casually or formally.

Definitely somewhere to take non-vegans to for some wow factor with zero complaints about the lack of meat or seafood.

Bohdi is a lovely spot for lunch as the park setting is beautiful. I enjoyed the yum cha variety on the couple of occasions I have been, I especially loved the custard buns which you often have to ask for specially. The staff are pretty good, however drinks staff can be a little tardy. I haven’t been at night time, but I suspect the location would be quite magical.
Read moreMy only thought is that they need a system so you can say you’re full, bring more food or you’re taking a break. Constantly saying no when you’re mid mouthful is a bit annoying and would waste staff time too.

We shared some edamame and the sweet potato gnocchi and it was so delicious! I also had the lavender cake which was nice but definitely an acquired taste. The wine was really good and the service was amazing!

Everyone will tell you! This restaurant has amazing food! I like the dumplings and gnocchis. Their menu changes from time to time. They use to have an amazing passion fruit cheese cake which they don’t have anymore at the time of speaking! Bring it back! Deserts are really good. It is a bit pricey so maybe for special occasion but the food is worth it!

New dinner menu disappointing for price - Edit
Bodhi has been a favourite restaurant of mine for the past 5 years, albeit with notoriously terrible service. The food has always been wonderful and the location is beautiful. However, tonight we left very disappointed for the first time. We tried the $14 Taro Chips for entree, which just looked like a packet of chips from Woolies emptied out on a plate, with some salsa. The amazing arancini balls served at Gigi's (Newtown) perhaps left our expectations very high when ordering the rendang spiced arancini balls at Bodhi, which were unfortunately pretty disappointing. We then had the gnocchi ($30.50) and the kam heong stir fry ($28), both of which were ok, but exorbitantly priced for what they were. Perhaps our fault for ordering poorly... If you want amazingly delicious gnocchi, go to Peppe's (Bondi), not Bodhi! The tofu was pretty average. We had initially planned to get desert, but after the entrees and mains, we decided to cut our losses. I am sad to say that unfortunately, we left feeling a bit ripped off. The food has always been worth the price in the past, so not sure what's changed. If we ever go back again, it would only be for their lunch menu, not dinner.

the park is nice, but you might as well bring ur own food to picnic at the park. The staff are rude and only will come to tables closest to you or big groups of people, however food is good taste wise. Id reccomend the bbq pork buns and the mango buns.

I have been here so many times over many, many years and every time it is an absolute pleasure on every level. The food, the service, the magical atmosphere set amongst stunning trees and fairy lights. Whether for yum cha or an evening menu meal, it is always a joy and a special place.

You don’t order food, the waiters come with trays and you can choose what to eat. I suggest to come in a pair or with more people. Not alone. So you can try more dumplings. It’s a nice place.

We hab a wonderful evening at Bodhi. The food was ready quite fast. It was fresh and very delicious. The staff was very friendly and asked us for any allergies and special wishes. All in all a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend going there if you want some good and fresh asian food.

Very interesting and flavoursome vegan menu. Came for dinner a la Carte menu. Quite a lot of fake meat in the dishes but very well done. Good Asian flavours. Tofu and mushroom stir fry and duck and water melon salad were both standouts.

We just had the best dinner! As QLDer’s we are often spoilt for choice so after discovering this little gem i was excited to try. It was amazing! Every meal cooked to perfection! The only issue you will have is deciding what to get. I might have to come back to Sydney just to dine here again.
