This place is the perfect place for a vegan visiting Bavaria. I was in Munich for over a month and felt I was missing out on getting an authentic experience by not being able to sample the local cuisine. Awesome place to try traditional German dishes. I actually didn’t like my entree, but loved the rainbow salad and enjoyed an elderberry spritz. Pfanderl steak and dumplings looked delicious but didn’t suit my taste. It was a lovely place to spend a relaxed evening with a group of friends. Extra points for funny decorations inside

Ich weiß gar nicht, wie ich hier in Worte fassen soll, was ich im bodhi erlebt habe. Ich bin eigentlich kein riesen Fan der deutschen/gutbürgerlichen Küche - aber dass hier ein rein veganes Wirtshaus Kindheitserinnerungen wecken kann ist einfach fantastisch.

This is my go-to place to bring non-vegans and show them hearty vegan cuisine. All dishes are good to awesome, and they have most of the mainstays of southern German Restaurants. One of my favorites is definitely the cauliflower buffalo wings for starters.

The food was delicious, the restaurant is cozy, and the service was fast and friendly. I would absolutely come back next time in town, I am so happy this is here! Everything we got was amazing, only note was that I needed to add a bit of salt to a few of the dishes. There were so many amazing flavors and the textures were great too. Highly highly recommend! Parking was a real challenge, though so plan ahead!

Loved this place - great menu of Bavarian classics but all vegan. Had vegan spätzle which I had always wanted to try and it was great - like Mac n cheese. Also had buffalo wings and the main came with a delicious side salad too. Highly recommend. Lots of outdoor seating on quiet street.

Read moreThe place is 100 % vegan and serves vegan versions of typical German food like Schnitzel, Mezzelune (stuffed pasta) and Knödel. There's vegan quotes hanging inside and you can also buy printed T-shirts. We had the "Buffalo Wings" and "Loaded fries" as starters and it was good, especially the wings which were super crispy. The loaded fries could in my opinion had been more loaded. As main course I had the Schnitzel “Wiener Art” which you get with sallad, potato salad. This was also very good, especially the Schnitzel which had good consistency.
What brings it down for me is unfortunately the service. It seemed like the waiters did not care that we were there and we needed to wait 20 min for them to take our order. The food came out quickly but then again it took a long time to get their attention when we wanted to pay.
Would still really recommend going here as the food was really really good and we might just have had bad luck with the service!

I also tried a bit of my friend’s Gyros and they were also great, and inventive.

Cool to find a restaurant serving vegan versions of traditional Bavarian food. I loved the vibe and the food was good too! I got one of the more expensive items on the menu, but the portion was bigger than I could eat in one sitting!

Amazing "traditional" bavarian food made vegan. The restaurant looks like one you find in an old bavarian village (except for the go vegan messages)
Read moreYOU NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION!!! A call in the morning is often enough but they are almost always booked out in the evening.
Very hearty, especially their "Bodhi Pfanderl" and the Schnitzel. Their dumplings are really good as well.
They have good looking desserts but we never got to try one as we couldn't eat more after the main course.
They have one gluten-free option (gyros) which is really tasty.
