Vegan Denny's Fix - Edit
Miss Denny's sometimes? Well you don't have to. This place packs ambiance and vegan breakfast options all with a great store where you can replenish your diminishing supplies of bobs red mill products. It's such a good time.

I ate at Bob's several times pre-pandemic. It's changed a lot, and not for the better. There are TVs displaying the menu instead of paper menus. The TVs are hard to see from a distance, and they don't include the vegan section that's on the menu online. The baked goods are no longer self-serve, but are near one of the cashiers. This is more sanitary, but makes ordering difficult if you're not at that specific cashier. They do still provide non-dairy milk for coffee, but you still have to ask for it. This can take a while since customers are picking up their orders since they no longer bring your food to your table. There are only two vegan breakfast options now, so I ordered pancakes and my partner ordered a waffle. They were the same price even though I received three pancakes compared to his one waffle. The syrup is now in disposable containers instead of reusable dispensers. The food was good, but more expensive than pre-pandemic despite the discontinuation of table delivery. Also, the constant beeping of pagers (signifying ready orders) was annoying.
Read moreThe store has a lot of food and home products. They allowed us to use our own containers at the bulk bins pre-pandemic, but the cashier could not figure out how to use the containers' tare weights so we wouldn't be charged extra. Hopefully, they have corrected this since then.

Bob's has Vegan options,,, I've had the Vegan pancakes and the Farro salad. Plus one time I got a Vegan Marionberry cinnamon roll that was soooo yummy!!

The cafe was much better pre Covid. They used to have more vegan options. I had the breakfast sandwich and was still hungry after, and it’s $11. Not worth it. Won’t go back for the cafe again.

Yummy vegan breakfast sandwich - Edit
Really love their vegan breakfast sandwich. They offer vegan pancakes, too! You order at the counter and eat outside at tables under umbrellas. Always plenty of parking. Very friendly employees. A delightful spot! You can even shop for vegan and vegan/gluten free bread, cake, brownie, etc mixes on your way out.

Bob’s is awesome for a very wide variety of dry ingredients - grains, beans, etc. Plus, they have a selection of interesting and useful kitchen utensils and gadgets. It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten at their restaurant but the last time I looked at the menu, I noticed that they now have some items marked vegan.

Great Choice in Milwaukie - Edit
This is a gem tucked back in the industrial area of Milwaukie. Order at the counter and then choose a seat and they bring food to you. The menu has a special section with vegan options including pancakes and French toast and staff know without asking if something is vegan or not. She even told me without asking! Food can sometimes need a little kick but they have good condiments on the tables. Fresh baked goods (with vegan options) and coffee are available if you’re in a hurry. And all of the Bob’s Red Mill products available inside. Sometimes you even see Bob having lunch. I like supporting this local business that is owned by its employees.
