Holy rosemary!

The Stranger recently declared Bloom Bistro the best bagel in Seattle. They’re my #3. It’s hard to stray from the rosemary sea salt, but I’m determined to try an everything bagel soon. They include fennel in theirs, which is unusual. I’m frustrated bc they use Oatly cream cheese + seem to have trouble keeping it in stock. Last week I ended up with a Mediterranean sandwich + it was good after a couple shakes of salt but seems overpriced at $14. I prefer the tofu + cheese.

Update: My partner got a bagel with schmear + grumbled about it for daaaays. I didn’t really taste the cc on the veggie sandwich we got back way back when bc it was spread thin, but now I can say it’s the worst vegan cc I’ve ever tasted, oddly sweet + lacking tang. I assume they’re still using Oatly? Side eye to the ppl who like it. Anyway, I got the tofu + cheese on an everything bagel + I wish the bottom was seeded, but it was good. Next time I’ll try adding a tomato.

Pros: proper bagels, super friendly, awesome historical location

Cons: tofu is kinda bland, vegan schmear sucks
