Leckeres Essen, man könnte noch etwas an der Ästhetik arbeiten - das Auge isst halt mit 😉 also vielleicht ein paar frische Kräuter oder etwas Deko dazugeben.

Apparently, dance events are also held here. When I visited, all the tables and chairs had been moved aside to create a dance floor. The music was playing already, seemingly for salsa.
Read moreSince nothing was going on yet, I was able to eat at the edge. Chef was friendly and courteous, food prepared quickly.
The menu has a vegan section. Most of it is rice with vegetables and sauce for about 10€. Fried spinach has passed the taste test.

Wer auf Fast Food, stark verarbeitetes Essen und einer zuckrigen Note zur finalen Abrundung wert legt, wird hier vermutlich enttäuscht werden.

Das Essen war perfekt gewürzt ohne einen damit zu erschlagen. Obwohl die Portionen sehr groß waren und ich mich über meinen Hunger daran bediente, saßen wir noch lange danach im Blauen Zebra ohne träge oder müde zu werden.
Der Service war ebenso unglaublich zuvorkommend und half uns bei der richtigen Auswahl unserer Beilagen. So einen entspannten Abend wie beim blauen Zebra hatten wir schon lange in keinem Restaurant mehr und ich kann unseren nächsten Besuch kaum abwarten.
Nun bleibt nur noch herauszufinden, welchen Reis wir an dem Abend bekamen um ihn in unser eigenes Sortiment aufnehmen zu können.

Wir haben zu Weihnachten hier bestellt und waren absolut zufrieden. Das Essen war wirklich lecker und die Auswahl war groß. Eigentlich ist alles vegan, man kann optional Fleisch dazu bestellen. Preislich auch völlig im Rahmen.

Wir haben erstmals bei diesem afrikanischen Restaurant bestellt, da wir viele vegane Gerichte auf der Karte entdeckt haben. Es wurde geliefert, was etwas gedauert hat, aber völlig im Rahmen war aufgrund der Entfernung.
Read moreAlles hat absolut fantastisch geschmeckt! Wir haben bestellt: Rote Bohnen mit Zwiebeln, Erdnusssauce mit Weißkraut, gebratenen Spinat mit Zwiebeln, veganes Ndole und Beignets. Eine sehr scharfe Soße gab es separat dazu. Das Weißkraut mit den Erdnüssen ist der Favorit meines Mannes, gefolgt von den fluffigen Beignets, bei mir sind es der gebratene Spinat und die Bohnen, aber eigentlich ist alles herrlich. Tolle Aromen, frische Zubereitung, gute Portionsgrößen für den Preis. Uns hat es zwei Tage gereicht.
Wir behalten dieses Lokal feste im Blick, denn es ist schon einer unserer Lieblinge.

As with all good comfort food, Blaues Zebra meals bring you a warm feeling of nostalgia, even if you never tried these flavors before. Sweet potatoes and chickpeas in a coconut sauce (#4) have a wonderful velvety texture of reduced coconut milk. The Red Beans are perfectly cooked to a buttery texture with onions, tomatoes and spices (#1). Cabbage in a peanut sauce (#2) turns out to be a perfect (even if unlikely) combination. It disappeared from the table very quickly. Finally, order a portion of beignets. The fryer is a great equalizer since it makes almost anything prepared in it delicious. You can order beignets with a side of red beans: if you’re lucky, you might have some left for tomorrow. The best way to enjoy Blaues Zebra is sharing with others so you can try a little bit of everything.

This was always my favorite food stall at the summer streetfood fests and I’m so excited they have a restaurant so I can eat this amazing all year! Everything has amazing and different flavors. My favorite main dishes are the red beans (#1) and coconut chickpea sauce with sweet potatoes and coconut milk (#4). They have lots of sauce and come with rice, so they are very filling and last for multiple meals. The plátano in peanut sauce (#7) was also good - the peanut flavor tastes really interesting and more like lentils. The beignets (#8) are amazing! So soft and squishy and sweet. The fried plátano (#20) is cooked in my favorite way - well done with some burned parts and really sweet. Just like in Costa Rica!

Dies Food Stall war immer mein Lieblings bei die Sommer Streetfood Fests. Ich bin so froh das sie ein Restaurant haben also ich kann diese wunderbar Essen das ganze Jahr essen! Alles ist unglaublich und hat unterschiedliche Geschmack. Mein Lieblings Hauptgerichte sind Rote Bohnen (#1) und Kokos-Kichererbsen-Soße mit Süskartoffeln und Kokosmilch (#4). Sie haben viele Soße und Reis also sie sehr satt machend sind und dauern für mehrere Malzeiten. Die Gekochte Bananen (#7) war auch gut. Die Erdnuss gechmack ist sehr interessant und schmeckt mehr wie Linsen. Die Beignets (#8) sind toll! Sehr weich und süß. Die Frittierte Kochbananen (#20) sind in meine Lieblings weg gekocht - mit schwarze teilen und sehr süß. Wie in Costa Rica!
Es ist besser geliefert als abzuholen, weil es nicht klar wie lang es wird dauern. Es dauert 2 Stunden vom bestellen bis zum Übergabe.
Pros: Gut geschmack / great taste, Plátano!, Gut Wert / Good value
Cons: Dauert Lang für abholen und lieferung, Takes a long time for pick up or delivery
