Delicious soul food

Great soul food; we got the oyster mushroom "chicken" and waffles, the jerk Mac and cheese and the ox tail. Amazing flavours and great service.

Best vegan fried chicken in NYC

Recently visited their new location at La Marqueta. How beautiful! I loved the place. And the food was amazing as always. I had a fried chicken (a must) with Mac and cheese and potato salad. Everything was delicious. I also had a yummy cupcake. The location offers sitting, and it's decorated beautifully

Fill your tummy

This venue is not a restaurant or even a take-out place: currently, it functions only in pop-up situations, such as at Vegan Night in Central Park (where I saw them). They serve filling and yummy vegan soul food; not necessarily low cal, but more than satisfying.

Best vegan fried chick'n with jerk and bbq sauces

They had a stand at the Vegan Night Market. I only tried the vegan fried chick'n, but it was the best I've ever had.

Amazing vegan food!

Love everything! Those oxtails though!!!! And all of their sides are incredible. They Really have the vegan soul food thing down packed!

Amazing soul food

My husband and I are both vegan, he was born and raised in the south and said this was the best vegan soul food he’s ever had.. and the best soul food in general! I said, “it tastes like this was made with love”, he was about to say the same thing. Love it! He had the crispy chicken sandwich and side of greens, I had the po boy and jerk mac and cheese. Everything was 15/10
