It’s nice that this exists, but… - Edit
This vending machine sells a few frozen meals that you need to microwave at home or at your hotel. It might not be readable on the pictures on HappyCow but they were all clearly marked as vegan when I was there. I liked the spaghetti-ish dish; also tried the mapo tofu but that one was a bit meh.
Read moreI like that this exists, but if you don’t live here it’s mildly inconvenient. First off, the location. But also the fact that only Japanese/Asian cash-less payment options are supported - but none that Western foreigners are likely to have. And to top it all off, if you want to pay cash, it only supports coins and the old style 1000 yen notes. So if you’re a tourist make sure you have those or a bunch of coins.
Pros: 24h vegan food, not expensive
Cons: inconvenient location, limited payment options

All items cost 680¥ and are frozen food items. I got one on the way back home, but I would not travel a long distance for these microwave meals. Recommended for the nearby Josai University students!
