In France, organic stores are the place to go for vegan products like tofu and seitan.

Tofu dream - Edit
I saw the largest selection of tofu ever here. I got tomato and herb and a ginger and sesame tofu product which was delicious in a frying pan with salads. So many options for tofu, tempeh and seitan. Also vegan yoghurts. Lots of dried wholefoods by weight and there was fruit and veg and eco home and toiletry products too. Highly recommend for self catering vegans in the area.

Excellent little organic store with friendly English speaking staff. Some of the fresh produce is grown locally. They stock most of the foods that self-catering vegetarians need to survive - vegies, grains, seaweeds, beans,seeds, packaged vegie burgers (among many other items). They even have a small selection of vegie shoes.
