Deserves 5 Stars! - Edit
This was a great discovery in Sienna. Friendly and efficient service, food was all Vegetarian, with at least 80% of the lunch menu being Vegan. This was great as we are a vegan family of 5 (with 2 hungry vegan teenagers)! There was Tempeh with Zucchini, a vegan curry and potato fritters with lovely zucchini and tomato salsa. All ingredients were obviously seasonal and fresh. Finished with fantastic vegan ice cream!

Great vegan-friendly place - Edit
This veg-friendly restaurant offers very good vegan options. Actually, quite everything was vegan when we came here for lunch. The menu offers many items, mainly pasta and tofu dishes. We took the gnocchis, two pasta dishes and their fried tofu. All of them were very, very tasty, finely cooked and plenty of flavours. I also took a cupcake that was really amazing, may be one of the best I've ever had. Useless to say that we enjoyed our lunch a lot. The place was quiet and nice, the owner was friendly and helpful and prices were fair. Definitely a place to go in Sienna, even if not 100% veggie.

Great Vegan Dinner in Siena - Edit
We enjoyed gnocchi (soft pillows of potato perfection) with seitan sauce, flowers stuffed with soy cheese, and penne with a pesto. For dessert we ate hazelnut and peanut ice cream plus strawberries with lemon curd. Overall we recommend this place for its great food and lots of choices.

While they do have salumi and a daily meat special, the rest of the menu is vegan or vegetarian. We had gnocchi with a tomato-based seitan sauce, mixed salad of the day (gigantic bowl!), husband had cheese plate, and for dessert, we had chocolate pie with toasted hazelnuts (tasted like a warm gooey brownie with hazelnuts and a crust). We also had peanut butter and chocolate gelato on the side! It was really delicious and a nice change from the tourist fare. I would rate this place five stars if I could (can't due to meat also being served). Definitely worth checking out if you're vegan/vegetarian/just looking for delicious food.
