Cosy and friendly, good selection - Edit
Vegan options for lunch and cakes are clearly marked. At least a few options to choose from for all types of food and drinks served, and great quality all round.

Great food, helpful staff - Edit
We went here for a late lunch and sat outside. It was a nice day and the server came after a not-too-long wait. The server worked with us to get good vegan food, which we got quickly. The atmosphere is nice. The pesto tofu sandwich, vegan quiche, house made lemonade, and coffee was very good. A couple people were smoking, but the smoke didn’t bother us. Highly recommend for a relaxing meal outside.
Read morePros: Clear understanding of vegan vs vegetarian, Fast and friendly service (and amazing food), Lovely courtyard in the back
Cons: Took a bit for the wait staff to take our order

Vegan bestellt, vegetarisch bekommen - Edit
Pros: Heimelige Einrichtung
Cons: Preis/Leistung an der absoluten Schmerzgrenze

All organic, great cakes/ alles Bio mit leckerem Kuchen - Edit

Nette etwas teure Option - Edit

Good chocolate cake - Edit
Bio Kaffe und Vegan Chocolate Cake – one of the best that I ever ate. Cafe Kiesselstein is really near to the Schloss Sanssouci in Potsdam, so it is perfect place to make a break after the walk in the park.

Cosy cafe in Potsdam with some delicious daily offers - Edit
Vegetarian restaurant with the vegan and gluten free options clearly indicated for both breakfast and lunch. Freshly prepared meals with a lot of veggies, we had a filling creamy soup and amazing quiche. It can be busy, on saturday at lunch, and inside seating is limited but you can make a reservation

Cons: can take a while at peak hour

Food OK - service not - Edit
I am an eat-everything foodie traveling through Europe with my vegetarian niece.
Read moreThe food here was fine - not exceptional but okay. The daily pasta - penne with tomato and mushroom - had uninterested tomato sauce that could have come from a can. Tasted fine but no texture, no chunks of tomato and no flavor. The mushrooms were simple white mushrooms ( the average American one) despite it being Pfifferlinge season here). My niece's falafel plate was better, but again not particularly exciting. We got better falafel at a doner kebab imbiß in Berlin. The Mohnkuchen redeemed the food.
The service on the other hand was abyssmal. Took 25 minutes to even get waitress to order (in restaurant with two servers and only 5 tables occupied). When we finally could order food my niece ordered and the server walked away. We had to call her back and she seemed surprised that I wanted to order too. Food service slow but not horrendous. When the cake arrived we asked for a second fork. It never came. The waitress did apologize the next time she came near us to deliver a cake to a nearby table. This was after we finished ours for which we took about 20 minutes to eat (10 waiting for fork).
Lackluster restaurant but nothing bad tasting. Have had much better vegan and vegetarian food throughout Germany and Czech Republic.
When she was around the server was smiling and pleasant.
Pros: soap in bathroom smelled nice, nice outside seating and pleasant inside
Cons: poor service, uninspiring food, overpriced for what you get

so glad it was open! - Edit
We got into Potsdam on a Monday and the few vegan suggestions were closed. We ordered most everything that was titled vegan-salad (great with beets and potatoes, the hummus/falafel and tofu sandwich. The food was great! If I went back I would opt out of the tofu sandwich and try the other vegan item which I think was a veggie puffed pastry.

Nice Food and Drinks for appropriate Prices - Edit
Today I visited that Cafe with my family. They had only vegan and vegetarian dishes. I assume they don't offer meat anymore. We had all a warm dish and some cake, coffee and tea. And we were all very satisfied.
Read moreWhat I liked very much was, that you could get a re-brew of your tea for 1€. The atmosphere was nice as well and the waiter was very friendly.
The prices are not cheap, but appropriate in my opinion.
I will surely go there again!

Cons: Not cheap

Ok food, bad service - Edit
I tried the vegan pie with salad but that was all, since the waiter ignored me while I was trying to ask him about other dishes. Would not go there again. For the price they charge, they should be a little polite.

Good biological food - Edit
It's a nice place to come for vegetarians and vegans. The selection is huge but could have been better vor vegans. I had a Falaffle Plate. It was good. The staff is friendly and the drinks are awesome (huge tea selection).

Mixed experiences - Edit
The atmosphere in Café Kieselstein is quite nice and the food is generally good. Sometimes, however, there are no vegan options or you catch the waiter in a bad mood so he/she does not want to ask the cook, if there is anything vegan.

Good food in a good location, - Edit
... but it has limited opening hours and very limited vegan options. If you want to make sure you get something vegan, call a day or two in advance! At the moment, the restaurant closes at 5pm (winter), in summer it was open until 6/7pm. The atmosphere is very friendly and bright, with changing art pieces on the walls and a mixed audience. Nice treat when you had to take parents for a walk through Park Sanssouci :). Out of the daily menu, the soup (about 5 euros) is often vegan, but if you're late it might be sold out. There is also a yummy smoked tofu sandwich with horseradish that is vegan, for about 3.50 euros.
