Refused entry because we were wearing masks - Edit
We really want to support local shops and avoid supermarkets wherever possible and had cycled about 20 km to get to this independent organic shop. But as soon as we arrived at Bilobi, the owner came out to tell us we couldn't come in with masks on.
Read moreI explained I was vulnerable and had to be really careful not to catch Covid so always wear a mask in shops, but she still refused me entry, saying there were children inside(!)

Won’t serve vaccinated people - Edit
Unfortunately I’m updating my original review (see below) as they refused to serve me when I revisited recently. I was asked if I had a negative Covid test, as is standard procedure. I said I had proof of vaccination- also acceptable with Green Covid Pass - and was refused service, being told I had a choice to not vaccinate.

Small shop and cafe with friendly staff. Quite a few vegan and veg options on the menu. Friendly, helpful staff and a beautiful place to sit outdoors if the weather suits it. I had the chilli sin carne which I enjoyed and found to be filling.
Pros: Beautiful organic enterprise , Friendly staff, Quiet, relaxing location
Cons: More limited indoor seating if weather is poor

Seems nice enough. Proof of vaccination not acceptable by owner but they serve meat. Go figure.

Good vegetables - Edit
We bought our fruits and vegetables at Bilobi. They were from Austria, organic and not wrapped in plastic or paper. Unfortunately we didn't have time to come here for breakfast or brunch.
