Delicious with many options. Generous staff! - Edit
Took a group of omnivores with me (a vegan) and all were quite pleased. For vegans they offered a vegetarian pizza with regular or vegan cheese. And a build your own with many vegetable (and pineapple) options.
Read moreOwner came by and gave our group a free basket of cheese bread and garlic, then swung by with a vegan version for me. Gave us small free ice cream cups for dessert including dairy free Ben and Jerry's for me.
Group really enjoyed bread. And were pleasantly surprised when owner mentioned bread was dairy free.

Review 03/2023: We’ve gotten this pizza and the garlic balls a couple times and have been a little disappointed each time. I don’t know if they’ve just changed their vegan cheese or have different staff, but the pizzas definitely don’t have as much flavor as they used to. They also still don’t have any vegan meat options which has been disappointing.
Read moreOld review 2021: This is definitely one of the best spots for Vegan Pizza on the island. Staff were probably the best part of the experience. They were very friendly, incredibly helpful, and gave tons of great advice. They also gave us some vegan cheese balls on the house as it was our first time at the restaurant and we had just moved to the island. The food itself was delicious and I was blown away by the flavor and craftsmanship. We will be returning many times in the future!!

A Very Satisfying Pizza - Edit
We have been staying near the airport so decided to try their pizza and it was great. It took a bit of time to make it. We had to take our own beer but that did not seem a difficult task since there were lots of beer places nearby. We both got the 7” and it was more than enough. I don’t usually get the vegan cheese and the pizza was great without it. We went there both evenings we were in the area.

Meals take a bit of time understandably.
Serving sizes are very small or very large (told that it would be enough for leftovers) from what it seems.
They could invest in a meat substitute for protein and taste.
Taste was okay, not blown away. My favorite so far on the island is named like floria or something like that.
Dining in had good music, the not much to say about the atmosphere. And again, the people serving were very kind.
Pros: Worth a shot, Good service, Easy parking
Cons: Nothing special imo besides being vegan, Serving sizes

Delicious, filling pizza (thick crust). I got the personal size 7" white pizza (vegan cheese version) and the vegan garlic cheese balls and wasn't able to finish everything, but wanted to try both. The pizza was very tasty. You can also build your own with their extensive topping options. For instance, my niece got caramelized onions on her pizza (yum!). The cheese balls are also delicious. They are very greasy on the bottom which is fine with me when I'm in the mood for some "richer" food, but that may not be for everyone. Very close to the airport, limited seating (it's a carryout place, but has a few tables) with friendly staff and cute decor.

Big Kahuna has THE best vegan pizza. We got their veggie pizza and just asked for it vegan. Their sauce is on the sweeter side and oh so good. You can also get their garlic cheese balls in a vegan option. My husband liked those but I thought they were too greasy. The staff at Big Kahuna is also very friendly. We enjoyed our stop here.

Really hit the spot! The have other pizza options too and you can add veggies of your choice. No mock meats here, but we didn’t miss them.

Located in the Airport Trade Center, with an automated parking system, customer parking is plentiful. They will also validate your parking for up to 2 hours.
Read moreBig Kahuna's is locally owned and offers vegan pizza and garlic cheese balls with Daiya cheese or without cheese. They have vegan dressings and Earth Balance butter. Pizzas come in 7"personal pan or 12"medium pan sizes. Their dining area has limited seating (about 5 or 6 tables) so I would recommend take out if you're pressed for time. *Lunch hours can get extremely busy so plan and call ahead.
We ordered (2) 12"vegan cheese with black and green olives which fed a family of 4 for dinner and lunch the following day. The pizza was really tasty and we all loved the crust - medium thickness, the texture was soft inside and toasty on the outside. Next time I will request extra vegan butter on the crust for that extra crunch I like with pan pizza.
The garlic cheese balls with vegan cheese are delicious.
**Tip: I recommend that you call before you go to make sure that Daiya cheese is in stock. They were out of Daiya cheese on two separate occasions that I tried to order.

Would give 5 stars if I could but they only reserve for fully vegetarian or vegan restaurants. Kelly was so friendly as the owner and made the vegetarian pizza for us vegan with pineapple instead of mushrooms. Delicious vegan cheese with a nice Parma topping for a great umami flavor. Perfect stop once you are going to or coming from the HNL airport. We tried today for the first time and will DEFINITELY be back again! Would love the addition of plant based proteins 🎉

Went here because it was conveniently located a short walk from the airport and was pleasantly surprised! They carry Daiya! All of their veggie pizzas can be made vegan with a cheese swap! Definitely get the Spinach Tomato Motz one.. It was delicious! Super good crust too. Everyone there was extremely nice and friendly, especially the younger girl working the front counter!
