Clearly marked vegan options and friendly service - Edit
We had the Beyond Burger, which was tasty and satisfying. Vegan options were clearly marked on the menu, which made ordering easy and stress-free.
Read moreOne of the highlights for me was that they actually had a vegan dessert! So often you find a place with vegan mains, only to be disappointed when there’s nothing sweet to end your meal — but not here.
The staff checked in with us a few times to make sure everything was okay and to see if we needed anything else, which made us feel really welcome.

Biessels is een gezellig eetcafé met een flink aantal vegan en vega opties op de kaart. Deze zijn duidelijk aangegeven met icoontjes. Opties zijn oa. Kroketten op brood, soepjes, broodje gegrilde groente, kimchi fries, en burger, een salade en flatbread met Baba ganush. Was even wennen om weer eens meer dan 1 standaard optie te hebben!

Uitstekende vegan bitterballen en warme chocomel! The cauliflower was wat minder. Lekker vertoeven daar.

I had the vegan burger and the Dirty Fries Kimchi. Since the vegan burger had also a portion of fries the friendly waitress said she could take it off from the vegan burger and give me a discount. I was a bit hungry (therefore no photos) so I left it that way. It was all very tasty. One disadvantage is that terrace didn't have a non-smoking section so it is possible that you are surrounded by smokers. Luckily for me the wind was in a good direction. Maybe there could be more vegan dishes on the menu but there are a lot of vegan snacks.

Ik had als lunch de smashed avocado sandwich en mijn vriend had de vegan kroketten op brood. Beiden waren lekker. De avocado sandwich staat niet vegan op de kaart maar met ei en feta, maar kan vegan gemaakt worden. Dit staat ook op de kaart maar de bediening was onzeker over het vegan alternatief. Door de keuken is extra groente toegevoegd.
