Really delicious vegan bibimbap - Edit
Not too many vegan options in the area, and although this place didn't have many vegan options, the tofu bibimbap was absolutely delicious! The gentleman serving us was extremely polite, and told us which side dishes had fish sauce in them (including the kimchi!). Would come back again for more bibimbap!

Food was good and there was plenty of it for a low price. Server was friendly and polite. He asked us if we wanted fish sauce (which we didn’t) but I am not sure if all the side dishes are vegan. The macaroni salad might have had mayonaise in it, but could have been soy yogurt as well. If you’re vegan, it might be good to ask up front.

I followed the recommendations here and got the mushroom tofu bibimbap and did not regret it. It was good, and quite cheap - definitely happy with the value for money I got.

I had the mushroom tofu bibimbap and it was delicious. The owner pointed out which side dish had fish sauce and was very helpful. The seaweed salad was my favourite, definitely get a refill!

Best bibimbap in Busan - Edit
So glad we made the effort to come here. I’d always favour vegan restaurants over ones that serve meat but made an exception when I’d seen previous reviews and this place did not disappoint! As mentioned in previous posts the owner was helpful and friendly, the menu clearly states the two vegan options. We got the mushroom tofu and loved every single bite!

Read moreFinding a good vegan bibimbap is harder than it seems, but thankfully we found this awesome spot. Owner understands what veganism means, and he avoids serving anything with fish sauce.
There are 2 vegan choices, normal tofu and and tofu with mushrooms that costs a bit more. We took the mushroom version. It was simply delicious, with a nice amount of ingredients. He also gave us the whole gochujang jar, so you can regulate the amount of spiciness. Best tasting bibimbap we had by a big margin. Surprisingly cheaper than other bibimbap places we tried, while having bigger serving sizes .
The sides served before were really great tasting and fresh, probably the best sides we got served during our trip in Korea. Sadly the kimchi wasn't an option, but the supplied 3 sides made up for it. The sprouts were specifically addicting. The macaroni Mayo was egg free.
Service is super quick, you'll probably be eating less than 3 minutes after ordering your choices. Water seemed to be infused with some green tea, which was also an added plus.
Don't let the owners frown scare anyone, he is very nice and friendly, just always busy with making sure everything is running well.
The place is spacious enough that one can come with no reservations. Also has some nice strong fans if the weather is too warm. Place closer around 8pm, so try before 7pm to get the last order.
Loved this spot, we returned here twice, and would definitely return in the future. Can highly recommend it.

The hot stone Tofu and Mushroom Bibimbab was super tasty, my boyfriend really liked the algae salad we got as a side dish. Price is definitely good (cheap).
Read moreOwner was nice, spoke English and asked us if we eat Kimchi so definitely knows what is vegan and what isn't. Menu also clearly labels vegan options and they have an English menu which is nice. 2 fully vegan options (Tofu Bibimbap/Tofu & Mushroom Bibimbap).
Note: It was our second attempt at eating there because they were closed the other day, I think they have a break time in the afternoon that is not stated in Naver but I'm not sure.

One vegan dish, but a good one - Edit
This tofu restaurant (두부 is in the name) is mostly bimimbap with meat and seafood - but it does have a nice mushroom-tofu bimimbap that leans on the savory-side of things rather than spicy. Quick service, and menus that are easily translated with apps.

Although there is only one vegan dish, but it is very good with mushroom and vegetable and seaweed, and I loved that the bottom was crispy from the hot stone pot. Really worth to try. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy but not easy to find.

Classic Korean restaurant with finally vegan options! Often you look into small alleyways and wish to just hop in and grab food but it’s certainly not vegan? Your search is over, hop in and treat yourself some vegan bibimbap. No unique concept nor industrial expensive interior. Just very tasty food in an authentic location. 5/5 for the vegan dish!

It seems there was only one vegan options clearly labeled when I visited which was a mushrooms hot pot bibimbap. The taste was really average nothing extraordinary the banchans are not vegan except for a soybean/carrots dish with sesame oil. Otherwise useful in this area of Busan.
