Looks nice, but lacking flavour - Edit
I had the spring roll starter, and the mushroom and rice main. It’s all very well presented, but just has lacked flavour which was quite surprising. The ‘soy meat’ was quite nice though. I covered most of my food in siracha so it made it nicer, but yeah… the atmosphere and staff are lovely, the food just at the very least needs more seasoning.

Although we were left wanting to try some other dishes, as they offer a set menu at lunchtime, we were pleasantly surprised by their traditional Vietnamese dishes.
Read moreA platter with 5 dishes, all vegan, including a delicious soup, sticky rice, vegetables, soy protein, and a crispy fried ball that was definitely the star of the menu. We were quite full, so we didn't try any dessert. A good option if you want to eat healthily.

Il y a du choix et c'est très bon.
Je recommande.
J'ai mis 4 au lieu de 5 étoiles en raison de la portion que j'ai trouvé un peu insuffisante et le bruit mais en même temps c'est aussi cette ambiance qui permet d'avoir plein de personnes différentes.

Arrived without a reservation but we were accommodated even though they were busy. The food arrived quickly and the service was friendly. We tried a wide selection of items and IMO the starters/small plates are the best on the menu. The coconut mango dessert is also worth a try. Delicious!

We had 5 tapas/starters between 2. All superb, especially the bao bun & ngu vi. Quite big portions. Everything was vegan except desserts. We arrived at 7 when they opened, without a reservation. Lots of people queuing & we were lucky to get in. Service very fast. Fantastic!

I was really excited to try this place after reading all the reviews. It is reservation only and I finally managed to get one for my last day in Toulouse. I ordered a starter and main course, and found the tofu to be a bit over fried and flavorless. The rest of the meal felt heavily processed with soy based mock meat in everything. Miss the times when vegan food was largely fresh and healthy. The staff didn’t care that I left half my food, they were curt and only interested in collecting the money. Overall, disappointed.

Délicieuse cuisine vietnamienne ! Le restaurant propose un menu unique le midi (un plateau très équilibré) et un format davantage "tapas" le soir ainsi que des plats principaux. Ce qui fait toute l’expérience d’un repas au Bep Chay est l’ambiance du restaurant. Toute la décoration, les couverts, les meubles viennent du Vietnam. Et le plafond aux mille lampions colorés rend l’expérience magique. Vraiment dommage que toute la carte ne soit pas vegan.
