Dissapointed. - Edit
I was here only once following the great reviews, but was dissapointed. The burgers were ok, but not great at all. Maybe they had just an off day, but I think a homemade burger tastes better than this. Sorry.

OUR GO-TO BURGER PLACE - Edit
Personally, I love their food. I've tried everything, every seasonal dish and burger - the experience was flawless. Brought my non-vegans friends in, and they were just as impressed. The Chilli Burger is my favourite; the jalapeño popper does the trick!😄I do, however, see how some people find their patties plain & the food overpriced... If you're one of those customers, try switching to a Mana patty next time.

NEW REVIEW since Belzepub went vegan:
Read moreFinally, giving them well deserved 5 stars! Belzepub is one of my most favorite restaurants/pubs ever! Their food is just SO damn good, burgers are worth dying for! Even my hardcore meat eater friends loved this place - hotdogs were amazing as well as quesadillas too. I can't wait to visit them again once I am around Zizkov!

Must try harder - Edit
I could go in to great detail on the various ways how this place could improve but it may well be a matter of taste and standards. The food looked fine, the flavours were nothing special. Prices a little higher than expected and they didn't take card payments which meant a 20 minute walk up and down near-vertical hill to find a cash machine. The burger pattie that they made in house was a relic that belongs in the nineties and the alternative was a 'beyond' pattie that could be bought from a supermarket. Burgers didn't come with fries as standard sadly and for a 'rock' and 'punk' themed venue, the rock or punk vibes were completely lacking. More like a standard highstreet place trying to cash in on the wave of ethical diet fashions. Onion rings were supermarket items also sorely lacking in the authentic scale. At worst it was sad, at best it was bland. Not the worst if you live nearby but it was quite a journey from the city centre.

Great Burgers and friendly staff - Edit
I have been to Belze twice now. The first time a I went a couple of months ago, I had Belze burger with the beyond burger and it was great! A couple of nights ago the friendly waitress Eva suggested I had the homemade patties and I am glad she did as it was great! Prices are very reasonable.

Expensive for what you get - Edit
I really like punk/rock pubs and this Žižkov place surely is one of them. I was very happy to hear they turned vegan this year. Sadly, I was little disappointed. First of all, I am not a big fan of beyond meat. You are a restaurant, you should cook, not defrost. But there are other choices. And here comes my biggest surprise. Prices. 40 crowns for few (literally) fries and the dip for extra 25 (not enough for even that amount of fries), not possible to have it in the menu. Burgers almost 200 (plus 200 for beyond). They werent bad, but lacked the sauce a bit. Beer was only pilsner for 50 (only available at that time). After all it wasn't much punk, it was just pricey. On the other hand staff was super nice!
Read morePros: Decent burger and fries, Nice punk interior

Favourite place in Prague ❤ - Edit
I travel a lot and taste burgers everywhere, so I could say that they have best burgers I've ever tried. The place is a bit grungy, but food is absolutely amazing. If you are okay with a punkish atmosphere I really recommend the place.

Vegan burgers, fried cheese and some more ! - Edit
This is a heaven (despite its name) for vegan junk food lovers but also a curse because these are the world´s best burgers you will ever get and any other is just a compromise. Thus you can travel all over Europe but these will remain the best ones anyway.
Read moreBurgers of several kinds are being replaced once a while (onion rings, nachos, fried cheese, etc.) in meat, vegetarian or vegan options. The staff are vegans themselves. All is (mostly) homemade and super delicious. Every 10th burger is for free...
I would rate it with 666 stars if I could :-)
PS update March 2020: i gave Belze the 5th star retrospectively as I couldn't until it was fully vegan which is now.

Nice pub, food was good - Edit
Came for a burger and some nachos and it was pretty good, the only negative was that the dense bread bun made the party fall apart and the flavours were nothing special. Still good place to go!

I had the Beyond Belzepub Burger and Jalapeño Poppers. Yummy! So far this was the best variation of a Beyond Meat burger I had so far. Also very good draft beer and homemade Tonic. Everything was delicious and fairly priced. Also the staff is really friendly. Definitely worth checking out.

Cause im pretty punk i loved this pub. I've never eaten such realistic "nofish and chips" in my life. The Burgerbuns were also tasty as "hell". The service and staff was warmhearted. Really comfortable and nice place to stay in the evening hours.

Cool pub with good burgers - Edit
It is always a joy to watch a venue turning vegan over the years and eventually I paid a visit to try the burger that is highly recommended here. I had the US burger and it was pretty good with enough mayo which I appreciate. The pate itself however wasn't so special, lack of taste and dry. Put together with fries and dip I enjoyed it but would not order again, I would go for the Beyond meat option next time. A bit overpriced in my opinion as the burger does not come with fries or sauce and only the fries are for 49 CZK, dip for 29 CZK and for example a soup is for 59 CZK, onion rings close to a hundred Czech crowns. It is pricey given the location of Prague 3 - Zizkov area. Nice staff who were kind enough to switch pickles for an onion for me. Poor ventilation, you can smell the kitchen at all times. Cash only.

If a meat eater says it's the best burger they've tried.... - Edit
I brought a meat eating friend here and sneakily ordered them the vegan Tyrol burger when it was available. They claimed it was one of the tastiest burgers they'd had. They couldn't believe it when I told them they'd had the vegan version. It's a punk/rock bar and I love it for its unapologetic atmosphere and offerings! The staff are not fakely friendly. They're great. They're quick to take your order, serve you, keep the drinks topped up and clear the tables. What more do you want?! There are English menus available too. Just ask!

Brilliant food - Edit
The food at belzepub is brilliant. We had the beyond chilli burger and the beyond U.S burger & nachos XL. The burgers are cooked really well and they’re packed with salad and sauce. Also, the vegan cheese is amazing, tastes very like the cheese slices you get from burger vans. Overall I would definitely recommend, it’s always good to support a 100% vegan business.

Loved this place. Can't believe it only recently turned vegan. Alcohol, vegan food and a pun, perfect. Would suggest the beyond version of the burger but I'm not keen on soya heavy things anyway so the in house one isn't for me. Nachos are great too! Honestly such a nice vibe.
