Safe bet - Edit
Beets & Roots is a chain with plenty of vegan options for salads, wraps and warm bowls. Reliable and satisfying, good quality and nice flavours. Safe bet, especially in Berlins touristy district. I tried the Vegan Cesar Salad and was very happy, although it's heavy on the sauce.

This was a great option for a quick lunch. They had plenty of vegan options which were reasonably priced. The vegan chicken bowl was very good and everything was made super quick.

Best burrito bowl I've ever had - Edit
I've only had about 5 in my life, but still. I had the burrito bowl with plant-based chicken, and really enjoyed it. The menu has a pretty wide vegan selection too.

We had a delivery of four really nice looking and tasty bowls: 1x Avocado Bowl mit: 1x Oneway Bowl, planted chicken (Erbsenprotein), 1x Avocado Bowl, 1x Vegan Crunchy Thai and 1x a Chicken Burrito Bow. All had fresh ingredients! With the Beets and Roots app, you get a discount on your first order too. We only can give 4 stars somehow, but they deserve 5!

Amazing vegan bowls but ordering can be challenging - Edit
Unfortunately I got sick during our weekend trip to Berlin so Chandler went to get take-out.
Read moreChallenge #1 was getting in the eatery, door was locked and there was no one in there but after a few moments a nice young woman came and unlocked the door.
Then you have to order at a kiosk. For some reason you can order the make your own bowl online but not at the kiosk in the eatery (and you cannot order from the counter). Chandler ordered his own bowl then tried to order it on the website. One needs to put your phone number in and the space was teeny tiny with the country flag covering the prefix so he couldn't figure out what flag was for the Netherlands. 
Not to be deterred he actually downloaded the app and was able to order my bowl (what a hero 💕).
And food is actually delicious and huge portions, vegan chocolate brownie was terrific as well. #Veganuary

Good bowls that aren't boring! - Edit
Ive eaten here twice and both bowls I ordered were really good. For some reason this restaurant seems to always be completely empty on weekday afternoons. They have wifi and the code is beetsandroots if I remember correctly!

We had a vegan wrap (falafel) and a non-vegan (but vegetarian) asparagus and feta salad bowl. Seemed quite customisable, so veggie options would easily be able to be made vegan.

I love the vegan avocado chicken bowl at Beets&Roots. The deal is unbeatable. For less than 14€ you receive a huge bowl with beluga lentils, chickpeas, planted chicken, marinated sweet potato, avocado, baby spinach and more.

Tasty and satisfying - Edit
There are several vegan options to choose from. I ate the burrito bowl and it was really good - the portion was even too big for me, it had a lot of protein from a generous amount of beans, also a lot of sauce which I love and in general the flavours together were perfect. My friends also had other vegan bowls and were satisfied too, do I'd recommend.

You never know with chains especially that don’t specialize in vegan food. But it was actually super yummy - more filling & yummy than dedicated vegan food I had earlier ! Lots of outdoor seating - calm area away from business

Decent vegan options. Pretty hectic here during 12-1pm, so my advice is to pre-order your dish or come after normal lunch hours.

The salad bowl I ordered was quite good. One strange thing though- one of the ingredients in the salad was cinnamon, and I really don't think cinnamon belongs in a salad. I would therefore advise anyone who is going to eat there to check first the ingredients of the bowl, and customise it the way you prefer.

Absolutely LOVED the food here! I got a burrito bowl and it was the best burrito bowl I have ever had, so filling and so fresh, the tofu was amazing and the bowl was vegan as is with the option to add chicken etc. They had other vegan options as well and some bowls/meals can be customised to be vegan! Super fresh and highly recommend!
