When I ordered dairy free ice cream I was asked if I had a dairy allergy, which I do, because the server would "use a clean scooper" Does this mean that if you order the dairy free they use the same scooper as the dairy ice cream unless you ask them not to? So there's basically cross contamination all the time. Considering the server looked like a deer in headlights when I paid with a 20, I don't trust them.
Hi Jennifer, just wanted to share that we now have a dedicated dipwell (the mini sink that holds the scoops with running water) specifically for our dairy free ice cream freezer! This is not common for ice cream shops to install separate plumbing for their dairy free selection (if they have one), so we’re excited to finally have it set up! However, we unfortunately still cannot guarantee the complete absence of any ingredient, we just do what we can to reduce the risks.
My husband went to get our ice cream and when he came back to the car, I thought he had gotten some kind of blue raspberry topping, not realizing duh 🤦♀️ it was Cookie Monster color!! It was delicious, my Strawberry Chocolate was a bit too sweet, but the Cookie Monster was really good and not too sweet at all - I love that they made such an imaginative flavor!!!
I got the sugar cone with a scoop of the vegan cookie monster and mint chip ice cream!! AMAZING! I bought a pint of s'mores for my vegan boyfriend and a pint of chocolate for my vegan younger brother! My younger brother and I both got vegan ice cream cakes from here both last year and this year.
