I went for lunch here with some friends. The first thing that was noticeable was the crowded dingy dining area. The prices for everything on the menu were exorbitant. Next the food quality was terrible. There was also only one server for the whole dining area.
When ordering the tofu pad Thai they make sure to tell you that it has fish oil in it. This may be because of people complaints but that stood out to me as being really considerate of their vegetarian/vegan customers. They have many options for tofu dishes and say explicitly what vegans can and cannot have.
Not Everything They Say Is Vegetarian Is Vegetarian - Edit
I've been going to this restaurant for over a decade and always get the vegetarian pad thai that is on the menu. I just found out this week that it contains fish sauce even though it's listed as vegetarian. The owner confirmed that it has always had fish sauce in it. I'd steer clear of their dishes!
not a fancy spot by any means but i’ve always had fine service and good eats over the last several years. gets crowded during lunch and dinner rush. most dishes can be made with tofu as the protein. the pra ram is delicious.
This is a decent Thai place. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this over Thai Essence, but it is near home-- so I eat there often. There are a number of options- just tell them you want it 'vegan'. I usually get pad kee mow or pad gra prow. Others often get preawan or some other thing. All are pretty good. I feel bad giving it a 3, because it is better than a lot of non-thai 3 star places.. but it is significantly lower quality than the other Thai place in town. If you really want something spicy you can ask for the ground chili powder. When fresh, it may be the hottest thing you'll ever be given sans-disclaimer at a restaurant.
It is pretty easy to make the dishes here vegan. They offer tofu, or you can just go without any added "protein". My personal favorite is the curry pineapple fried rice - loads of veggies for a great price. I love places where I don't have to say much to make something vegan, and here it is really easy!
Came here when we first moved to Lafayette it was Okay but didn't feel clean or really even that tasty but you could get it down and it stayed so I'll put that as the positive.

Lots of options - Edit
Big fan of the tofu satay and the green curry but there is a lot here to try. Great bubble tea as well.

Very flexible - Edit
They can make most dishes vegan, though some are much better than others. My personal favorite is the spicy Basil fried rice, and I come a lot!
