Beautiful place with delicious food - Edit
I just had a soup because I didn’t feel good. The soup was very delicious. It was a big portion with rice. The menu offers a lot of different things (vegan and vegetarian). The stuff and the place is just amazing.

Nice but not super traditional - Edit
The food was decent but it felt like there was something missing. It’s definitely a westernised restaurant catering for tourists and expats which probably explains the food. Also a bit pricey in comparison to some other places but a nice place to stop for a meal.

Quite Nice! - Edit
I really like this place! today I had the ginger tofu (which was not fried) mixed with a few greens and a few beans, and came with rice for $2.5. Well worth it. Additionally, I had what seemed like a freshly pressed juice drink of celery, cabbage and ginger juices for $2.5. Really delicious and fresh tasting.
Read moreThere's a garden adjacent where you can see a lot of veggies growing.
At the entrance/exit is a little ice cream place that has some great vegan ice cream!
Pros: Delicious! , I love that they mix greens in with the tofu, It's a really nice green space
Cons: not using the air conditioning , Kind of hot

Excellent - Edit
Our group enjoyed a tasting menu, which had perfectly sized portions of watermelon salad, lotus root ceviche, curry & rice, moringa soup and frozen lime pie. Nice cold drink too. All tasty, healthy and attractively presented.

My Favorite Cambodian Restaurant - Edit
Banlle provides high quality food in a romantic chill space. In terms of vegetarian options and food quality, this was my favorite dining experience in Cambodia.
Read moreLocal dishes prepared freshly and with care. The prices are elevated compared to most restaurants, but the food and ambience are well worth it. Great for a date night / night out.

Great soothing setting in the middle of Siem Reap. - Edit
I chanced upon this gem while strolling through the streets of Siem Reap. Turns out the chef (Bola) is a Cambodian who spent time in my country (Jamaica), and picked up a few Patois phrases that had us bonding immediately! I came back a few times during my stay and enjoyed the meals and the welcoming, friendly wait staff. Here's a short video of my first meeting with the Bola and staff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iwJF3u76II

Feels high-end without the high price. Amazing food. - Edit
Mostly vegan with lots of western and Cambodian options. Friendly staff and welcoming of children. I still can’t believe how cheap this place is given the smart decor, plating and service. Food was so good I forgot to take pictures. 🤷♂️

Beautiful food in a stunning setting - Edit
Really delicious and beautifully presented Khmer and Western dishes, all veggie or vegan. The menu has loads of choices, and specific vegan sections. We visited twice, once to try Amok, and again for dinner where we tried their vegan fish and chips. Both were really delicious, and the setting is really tranquil - we were really impressed!

Fancy, not posh. - Edit
Nice restaurant with fancy atmosphere. They give you two menus during the lunch time, but only one during the dinner which is quite confusing. With same food but different prices.
Read moreThe food was innovative like fish and chips, but also traditional like noodle soup or banh mi sandwich.

It was ok - Edit
We were given two different menus at lunch, some with the same dishes listed but not always the same prices which was a bit confusing. The waitress didn’t write down our order and had to repeatedly come back and ask what we’d ordered, as well as to tell us that they didn’t have our choices available. We were served a non vegan biscuit with our drink despite make it clear we were vegan, although when we checked they actually came back from the kitchen with a little vegan biscuit/cake which was nice. The double wrap we got was tasty but didn’t really like the Khmer Prahok Ktis which was also not very practical- it’s supposed to be a dip with crudités, but it’s too chunky and therefore the bits needed eating separately, which is a bit odd with raw and boiled veg. Wouldn’t recommend that dish

Really good value - Edit
When I came here I got two meals, because at only $3.50, I thought that the Pad Thai would be pretty small. It wasn't, it's just a really good value place.
Read moreI almost got put-off by other reviewers calling it fancy and a place to get dressed-up for, because eating alone, I just wanted a simple meal. I decided to come here anyway, and I don't think it was posh at all.
It's just a normal, chilled restaurant with good food, so don't be put off.
Pros: Not posh, Great value

Hit or miss - Edit
Dishes seem to be hit or miss - absolutely loved the sauce on the ginger tofu (though the portion size wasn't that big)!
Read moreThe vegan Caesar salad wrap with tofu was okay, but lacking flavour and I wouldn't order it again.
The pad Thai unfortunately was one of the worst I've ever had.
The rice noodle soup was edible, but not a lot of flavour (I added lots of chili sauce and hoisin but I still wouldn't order it again)
Pros: Lots of veg options , Nice ambiance , Kind staff

WOW FOOD - Edit
This was the best meal I’ve had in Siem Reap. You must order the stuffed tofu as an appetiser… it is insane! This was like fine dining but only 1 or 2 dollars more than a standard meal out in Siem Reap! Sooo much choice and the restaurant is beautiful. You must go!

Next Level Vegan Dining in Siem Reap - Edit
AMAZING VEGAN FOOD IN A BEAUTIFUL GARDEN SETTING. SIMPLY THE BEST.
Read moreWow!
The chef and his team have certainly taken things to the next level with the brand new menus and concept at Banlle.
Banlle is a converted Khmer wooden house within a peaceful garden setting.
The restaurant has undergone a major refurbishment and now offers guests the choice of dining downstairs in the main AC restaurant or upstairs al fresco style.
It is very, very good and all of the food is fresh, vibrant, creative, beautifully presented and prepared to perfection.
With so many options in Siem Reap for vegan food we are really spoiled for choice, but trust us when we say that Banlle is a superb restaurant and we done there most weeks!

Great value for money - Edit
I can't even describe how good this place was.
Read moreThey grow their own herbs and vegetables around the garden. I'd say a 90% vegan menu.
Staff was friendly, English wasn't perfect but I don't mind stuff like that.
Was shocked at how cheap the price was $15 for 1 starter, 2 main, drinks & 2 pudding.... Bargain. The food was fresh &great tasting aswel and would recommend anyone to try this place at least once.
