Serves meat, vegan options available. Modern Afghan cuisine. Offers a vegetarian section in the menu, most of which are vegan. Lentil and bean curries. Staff know what vegan means and will help. Open Mon-Sun 5:00pm-10:00pm, Thu-Sun 12:00pm-3:00pm.
Bamiyan has been part of the Inner West food scene for years, and I was really happy to discover that a number of their vegetarian dishes can easily be made vegan. The staff are friendly and always happy to help you work through the menu. The food is very delicious, especially the curries, which are warming and perfect on a cool evening. We have been back a couple of times now and will happily return again.
We had a great night sharing a bottle of wine and eating delicious Afghan food on their balcony. The owner is very aware of what vegan food is, and has marked the vegan options in the menu. We had samosas, pakora, an eggplant curry (made vegan by not including the yoghurt), chickpea curry and naan bread. We’ve been several times and have enjoyed each time.

Delicious vegan options - Edit
The staff were very helpful with vegan options, and we had no trouble picking what we could eat. Food was tasty, varied, and excellent value for money
