Loads of options and very tasty ! Cool area too. We just kept ordering more. Fully cash restaurant so make sure you come prepared as there were a few people who had to get cash out after eating while we were there.

I stayed in a hotel nearby so this restaurant was the obvious choice. They serve Thai, Asian, and Western dishes. Most importantly, prices are reasonable unlike most vegan restaurants in Bangkok. Friendly service too. Definitely worth checking if you’re in the area.

Not only did we have a fab meal here at v modest prices, we saw the owner be extremely kind and generous to an old (American?) & clearly unwell, lady who was on her own and didn’t realise it was cash only. They still fulfilled their takeaway order and accepted what cash they had (less than half). The old lady offered to go to an atm but it was chucking it down outside and the owner just told her to come back another day with the money she owed. Just shows the values of the place 💗
Read moreBack to the food: 💯 you have to try the fried chicken! It was the most nostalgic batter I’ve had. The menu fills you with excitement and locals come here too. Definitely a hidden gem that we should fully support!

Enjoyed our meal at Bai Plu House. Lots of variety on the menu and photos to help you understand what they are! 🌱 Be careful to check their opening times on Facebook as they differ from the HappyCow app - we were caught out once but luckily our hotel was only 15 mins walk away so it didn’t matter and we came the next day instead!

Vegan Chinese Homecooking - Edit
We got several dishes, mostly Chinese dishes like dim sum and bao. The flavors were excellent and it has a really home cooking vibe that has flavors of love mixed in. Awesome meal and awesome place.

It's my first time in Thailand and the first night we ate here. After this experience it was hard that any other restaurant could top this. We are almost at the end and I have come to the conclusion that this restaurant was indeed the best, in terms of local food this is great. The quality/price ratio is good, staff is super nice and it is clean. #Veganuary

Tried the papaya salad and some of the Bao buns, both of which were delicious. Would have liked to try lots more of the fake meat dishes and the soft serve ice cream and home made coconut ice cream. The staff were friendly and it was a cute little place.

I ordered a few things here and wasn’t that impressed with anything in particular, until I got the ice cream. It was amazing and I don’t usually like ice cream. He said it was just made of coconut milk, there’s sticky rice in it, and they add roasted peanuts on top. So good.
Read moreI asked for the papaya salad to be spicy (and they warned me it would be), and it wasn’t at all. The sticky rice that came with one of my dishes was also really good. The staff were nice though, and I’d go back to try different things.

I really had my hopes up high when I read all the 5* reviews here but I just can't agree. The portions are small, the food is bland, especially the pad thai. There are much better places to eat. The staff was very friendly.

Nice restaurant. We were in four and everything we ordered was really tasty. Papaya salad, vegan shrimp dumpling, tofu soup, vegan duck. The coconut ice cream not as great as the meals, it came with rice and peanuts.
