I did see some dairy items that were marked clearly. That’s the only reason for the 4 stars, I can’t do 5 on this app if it isn’t fully vegan. The pastry was delicious. I had some chocolate covered cookie mouse thing that was so good. I wanted to try this traditional princess cake, but they only had a large one. Next time….

Absolutely delicious pastries. Their pain au chocolat is amongst the best in Europe in our opinion (equal to Margot's in Amsterdam, and better than in Paris). The cardamom and cinnamon buns are fantastic as well, and so are the biskvi and 'vacuum cleaners'. The staff are so kind and calm, and the few seats inside are super cozy. It gets crowded though so be prepared to take your order to go (there's a nice park with grass and trees just after the corner of the building) or wait for a table to become available.

All vegan bakery. I tried the delicious almond-bun and vegan foccacia which both were amazing 🤩 The bread also looked great (but I didn't try it) and the service was good!

Best bakery in the world - Edit
Little cozy place in central Malmö, with a little bit of luck you can even sit there with a cup of coffee. They have a lot of beautiful pastry and bread and everything is vegan without making a big deal about it. For me it is a big deal though, you do not find places like this on every city!

Unbelievably good. I’ve seen everyone talking about the pastries (understandably so) but the refrigerated treats need hyping up too!! The dajmbakelse was out of this world with rich and delicious flavours. The passion fruit biskvi again was so delectable, the firm but chewy biscuit topped with the passion fruit cream was the perfect pairing. I went around 5pm so recommend going earlier in the day if you’re wanting pick of the whole menu. Pastry wise, when I went, they had the usuals left so picked up a perfectly buttery flaky pain au chocolate and a lovely cinnamon bun. As amazing as the pastries were, the refrigerated goodies take the crown for me!

Very friendly staff and everything in the shop just looked amazing. Had a hard time picking just one.. So I didn't 🤷♀️ the cardemom bun was fluffy, moist and very fragrant. The pink princess beignet with raspberry was also delicious. We also bought a fresh loaf of bread with seeds, which was also very tasty.

Read moreTo start of we had a kanelbulle and a Kardamombulle. Both light, fluffy and yet moist. The we tried the croossantsnurra (flaky dough filled with hazelnut chocolate cream) and the biscuit (chewey nut cracker on top a passionfruit butter cream and coated in white chocolate- i wanted to live in this).
They also have savory options.
There are only about 10 seats inside and no bathroom but the vibe is awesome and staff super friendly!

Both sweet and savoury offerings are very tasty. Their summer treat of strawberry tart is incredible, I could eat a whole tart by myself. The only downside is the pricing (what keeps them from 5 stars): they are very expensive.

This was one of the best places I’ve ever been to! They had so many nice things to choose from. I had the prinsesstårta, which was alright, I’ve had better. But the semla was the best thing ever, I’m still thinking about it!! And the fredags munk was also amazing! My friend had some lemon-poppy cinnamon bun and a foccacia and she liked both.

We visited Malmö on a Monday, but since Bageri Leve isn't open on Mondays, we returned on Tuesday just for Leve. And we weren't disappointed!!! We tried every single one of their sweets and desserts (lucky us to be four—so we could split and try everything—and we even bought a big bag for the next day).

A visit to Sweden without tasting delicious Swedish cinnamon buns is missing something. On the search for a vegan cinnamon bun we found this complete vegan bakery. It was so good we came back the next day for our breakfast. Absolutely recommend to visit and support this amazing bakery!
