Fresh and healthy vegan bagels

Great breakfast options. Good value for money, plant milk latte and generously topped bagels.

Pros: Value for money , Good quality coffee

Cons: Could do with more vegan sweet options

Vegan hummus

Gezellig klein restaurantje in leuke straat in Amsterdam. Ik at een Vegan bagel met Vegan hummus en een golden latte met amandelmelk. De golden latte zag er heel vrolijk uit(zie foto)

Cozy little restaurant in a nice street in Amsterdam. I ate a Vegan bagel with Vegan hummus and a golden latte with almond milk. The golden latte looked very cheerful (see photo)

Fantastic shop!

The workers and manager are very kind. They have a red pepper cream cheese and bunch of bagels to choose from. They also have other toppings- hummus, avocado, etc to put on your bagel. They do offer a vegan burger on a bagel!

Pros: Good number of options, Wonderful staff , Fair pricing

great for brunch

An amazing choice of bagels, fruit salades, teas and fresh energizing drinks make this place a great place for weekend brunches. I took bagel with hummus rocket and dry tomatoes and it was excellent. Don't forget to have a tea and freshly squeezed juice!

Cons: I'd like to see more vegan options in the menu

excellent vegan options

The staff are now very knowledgable as to what's vegan and what isn't. The veggie chicken bagel is 100% vegan and it delicious! There is also a choice for an Amsterdam "weed" bagel which is labelled on the menu as vegan, a hummus bagel and a banana and maple syrup option. Plenty of options for soy milk drinks and soy yogurt options too! An excellent choice for vegans, they have clearly taken advice on board.

Reliable and filling

Vegan options in Bagels and Beans are slowly but surely increasing, and staff seem to be getting more used to questions and requests from vegan customers. This venue is no exception. After a morning power-walk around Westerpark, I had the Good Morning Breakfast, which includes a hot drink, juice, and a cream cheese and strawberry jam bagel, but being vegan, I asked for the cheese to be omitted. Swapping these toppings for hummus or banana would have also been possible. This breakfast costs 5,95 Euros, which is average for Amsterdam. Though as the poster below points out, later in the day, from about 10 onwards, this smaller venue can get very busy, so take-away is a good option. Maybe go back to the park?

The awesome Haarlemmerdijk

Probably one of the smaller of the dozens of Bagels and Beans branches around town. A great selection of vegan and vegetarian bagel fillings and the awesome soya Matcha Latte are a staple here. This one does get very busy indeed so be prepared to fight it out at busier times. I simply love this street in Amsterdam, go and enjoy.

Pros: bagel fillings, soya lattes

Cons: busy, smaller premises
