Vegan in Bayside.. about time! - Edit

I have been here 3 times already and have been impressed every visit. The owner is so passionate and friendly, and really cares about vegan life and vegan food. I've tried the lasagne, quesadillas, beetroot burger and curry puff - all were fantastic and at an amazing pricepoint. A larger menu is coming later in April, with a wider range of sandwiches, burgers and pizzas, with gluten-bread as an option. I love this cafe and am so happy there's finally a fully vegan establishment close to where I live and work!!

Pros: All vegan, so friendly it's like coming home

A Gem in Brighton - Edit

Delicious meals and personalised service. It’s our go to place in Brighton for fresh juices, snacks, meals and groceries. All food is vegan and delicious! So much to try and we keep coming back for the Vegan lasagne and curry puffs and curries which are excellent guilty free comfort meals for winter.

Pros: Variety for Vegans, Attentive service, Delicious food and drinks

Cons: A bit hidden away behind a tree on Bay Street

Brighton goes vegan - Edit

The lasagne is a standout and odds are, the curries and other hot meals would be good too. The freekah salad was also very good.

Unfortunately, all the breads/rolls are gluten free so the burger we ordered was quite a chore to get through.

The owners are very friendly and enthusiastic and I hope they get the support from local vegans. It's also good to see all packaging used for takeaways is biodegradable.

BYO gluten - Edit

Disorganised due to a late start, but definite signs of potential (have only been open for 5 weeks). Avoid the burgers unless you like gluten free bread.
Nice people, completely vegan cafe.
Hope to come back and increase the rating.

Pros: vegan
