Favourites removed from the menu, still great though.

‘Babs is fantastic. Service is always fantastic and the vegan options are always tasty. However, due to poor ToryGov decisions, this business is being impacted by ingredient shortages and have reduced the size of certain items on the menu, which means my fave dish is smaller and missing ingredients. It still tastes great, but feels like a little something is missing.

Pros: Good vegan options , Fantastic service, Tasty beers

Cons: Reduced menu, Little bit cold in the restaurant

Tasty food

Perfect for lunch or dinner, great selection of drinks (and very reasonably priced coffees) as well as vegan food. We had the Vegan Shawarma which tasted really nice - especially their hummus and pitta. And the Vegan Gyros wrap - also delicious. The free chips deal with any main meal on a weekday is fantastic too and you really get your money’s worth. The service was perfect, very friendly people and the food was ready in not long at all! Would recommend highly and hope to eat here again soon. Great atmosphere and restaurant is decorated lovely.

Pros: Range of good options , Delicious food and drinks , Friendly staff

Cons: None (except that they serve meat)

They use THIS branded vegan chicken and its cooked in a way that tastes genuinely real bbq chicken. The sundried tomato hummus and flat bread was no joke incredible! We got vegan chicken gyros and vegan chicken shawarma which both used THIS chicken. Fairly priced. Nice staff.

Pros: Tastes amazing , Staff are nice, Price

fav restaurant in glasgow

One of my favourite restaurants in Glasgow that I go back to regularly! They do a wide selection of vegan options but I always opt for the Vegan Shwarma bowl. It’s served with pitta bread, but if you go during their lunchtime deal you can add chips on for free. The portion size is really good and they use this isn’t chicken which is one of my favourites! The venue and staff are both lovely!

Pros: lots of options , great flavour , big portions

Nice burger!

They had I think two vegan meal options that are both lovely and then sides such as hummus! I got the vegan cheese burger. Sadly they brought me a meat burger to start with but luckily I noticed before eating it! However, they fixed my order very quickly.

Pros: Nice burger fillings , Good vegan sides

Cons: Brought meat by accident at the start

They ran out of the one vegan option

Not much to say other than we sat down, ordered drinks and food and it was a while into waiting before we were informed that they had run out of vegan kebab. Bit of a waste of time. I'm open to mind being changed but for now I have nothing to go on I suppose this is the problem with having only one option.

Fresh and delicious

Arriving Into Glasgow after a delayed flight and sad that my usual spots were either closing for the night or too busy to seat me, I opened the happy cow app and despite having no reviews uploaded yet, I decided to give it a try. The host was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was pleasant. The menu is a Greek Inspired mix of hefty dishes and lighter salad themed dishes and I ordered a portion of fries to accompany my Vegan Steak Shish, thinking that I would need them. I was pleasantly surprised! The main was filling, with beetroot hummus, fresh mixed salad and dressing with two skewers of big flavourful seitan chunks and pepper that had been bbq'd. The fries were very good too. I'd definitly order these dishes again and can't wait to visit ASAP with some friends. My only gripe would be lack of vegan options. Having visited Greece a few times, I'm well aware of how easily converted a lot of dishes are and it would be great to see this place reaching out to their potential vegan audience.

Pros: Delicious and fresh.

Cons: Lack of vegan options, hopefully this will change!
