Vegan food in a not so vegan friendly town - Edit
Almost no vegan options in town, so husband surprised me with one of every vegan option for our anniversary. Yep, he spent well over $100 on takeout.

Beautiful presentation for takeout.
I'm not familiar with this type of cuisine, but this is my take.
The rice noodle dishes were good, but no seasoning was added to the noodles, so they were a little bland.
We absolutely loved the tacos! And the wraps were good, the sauce is what made them. Using the dipping sauce is a must.
We got 2 soups, one was tofu, vegetables, and mushrooms packed into a container with broth added. Very delicious. Was eaten in about 3 sittings. The other soup was just broth. It tasted like salty pumpkin pie spices. Very salty. I don't typically add salt when I cook, but it reminds me of what I recall ramen noodle packets to taste like. The flavor was good, I just wasn't accustomed to the salinity.
If ordering again, I'd get the bowl with the sauteed tofu and shiitake mushrooms, and the tofu mushroom and veggie soup.
He didn't bring home any desserts, but if they have vegan ones I'd love to try it.
I will go back again and pick out my own food.

Finally got to check them out on my birthday weekend. Place was amazing. We got the noodle dish and bahn mi sandwiches. Both were amazing. Can’t wait to go back .

Out of nearly everything vegan! - Edit
Ok, rushed to get there tonight while traveling around the area from NY. Called ahead to double-check their close time. Traveled another 35min to arrive just before 6 - kitchen would take orders until 6:30 and they would close at 7. Whew, we must be lucky?
Read moreTurns out they’re out of “tofu products”, mushrooms, all soups, Coke and Sprite. Hm, ok, all we could order was something with impossible beef but will still totally have happy belly.
My bf ordered Bahn Mi mini sandwich with impossible beef with iced tea — because they were *also* out of Pineapple Smoothies or he would’ve had one, I’d have the Tacos w/impossible beef and a small pot of hot tea.
His iced tea showed up about 10 min later and then we’re told the kitchen just said they’re out of impossible beef.
Super duper duper disappointed to have traveled all the way and amped up at our table for NOTHING. She had to tell the other 3 tables that had ordered after us — the place was packed but I don’t know if we were the only ones eating vegan there.
I guess it’s a good sign that people are eating more vegan food instead of dead animal options but it just sucks they didn’t have more options ON THE MENU. They could order less rotting flesh and maybe more mushrooms and tofu to have on hand!?
TL:DR; They were out of basically everything a hungry vegan would want to eat (other than _maybe_ a small salad or summer rolls without the tofu). Order placed, 10 mins later our order needed to be canceled cos the kitchen did not have the ingredients.
Other eatery waitress suggested was CLOSED. We drove to eat vegan fast food salad sandwiches at Subway inside the local Walmart! 🤭
