They are the only remaining vegan restaurant in Sucre, which already makes them a valuable option for travelers looking for plant-based food.
Read moreThey offer a daily menu for 35 BOB that includes a small mise en bouche, a soup, a main dish (in our case, a vegetable stew with polenta served in broth), and a hot drink such as chocolate mate. They also had dessert available separately, which we bought, as well as other drinks.
The food is simple, generally tasty, and quite filling. It’s not exceptional or particularly refined, but the quality is good and it does the job well.
One downside is that the same menu is offered for both lunch and dinner, so it’s not really a place you would choose twice in one day.
They also have a small shop selling some local products, which is a nice touch.
The servers are friendly and welcoming. The place itself is very small, with only a few tables, so it can feel a bit limited in space.

Came here everyday of our 5 day stop in Sucre. Owners were so lovely and accommodating, made us feel very welcome. You can tell they care about the space and it shows! Food was also delicious and great value at 35bns for the menu del día. I have left Sucre now but a piece of my heart will be at Ayni forever ❤️

Such a find but random opening hours. When I expected it to be open it was closed and vice versa. When I went it was set menu which was a soup, and vegan chorizo/beans and rice for lunch. Was all really tasty and such good value. They also sell vegan yoghurts, chorizo and chocolates to take home.

This cafe exceeded my expectations! There is a daily menu for only 22 bolivianos per person and we had a drink, soup, vegan lasagne, a salad and chocolate cake included in that price!! All delicious and healthy. Amazing for the price. Will go every day it’s open😄

Super cute and cozy place. The lunch menu is 22 bols, and the quality and quantity was just unbeatable. Definitely not your basic lunch menus like other places. Once we came here... Well we couldn't justify going to any other vegan places in town!

Read moreWe ate the day's menu with a very tasty spinach soup, and an original take on a sheperd's pie with cassava (manioc, yuca) instead of potatoes puree and oysters with bell peppers as the filling. We had a very refreshing passion fruit, lemon and mint drink, not too sugary. Everything was delicious and the owners were lovely, very welcoming and warm :)
Definitely one of the best vegan restaurants I've been to in Bolivia as a whole. I'll definitely be back before leaving Sucre.

A hidden little gem - Edit
It’s a small but cozy restaurant full of colors just 10 minutes from Plaza 25 de Mayo. You can easily feel that the young couple who run the restaurant look after you and the place, projecting their love and passion into the dishes. I’ve tried the vegan lasagne, and I have to say that it has been one of the best I’ve ever tried (sorry, grandma).
