Limited Menu, Limited Cooking Skills

This place is hit or miss, partially depending on what you order. Something to know going in is they have no clue how to cook tofu. The consistency is awful. Zero flavor. The tofu they serve might be tastier if they just left it raw. It is the only veg source of protein that Atza has, and as someone who loves tofu, it is gross here and I would recommend leaving it out of your order.

There aren;t too many vegan choices here. I ordered the Chop Suey Noodles on my last visit. Probably the mushiest most overcooked, slimy noodles I have ever gotten in over 2 decades of eating in Asian-cuisine eateries in Israel. In the past I also ordered the Pad Thai which is better. Overall, I would recommend if visiting the establishment to stick to the Sushi, which is fairly average for Israel.

I think the thing that annoys me the most here, is their refusal to accomodate even small changes when requested by a customer. For example they have a "vegetarian sushi combination". When I asked if they can make it vegan (Simply by taking out the egg, they told me this was not possible. Why the heck not?!?

Another example is they have a dish called "the Vegan", it has zero protein, when I asked can you add tofu to it, I was told "the computer doesn;t give me the option". The people who take your order are people. The chefs are also humans. Besides for how sad it is that their flagship vegan dish has zero plant-based protein, There is no reason that (even for an extra cost) they cant ask the chefs to add it.

Honestly, after trying their tofu dishes twice, I'm glad they left it out. I'll be avoiding this place (and their tofu) in the future.

Pros: Visually aesthetic restaurant, Comfortable seating, Central location

Cons: They don't know how to cook veg food., No ability to make adjustments for customers

Good in a pinch

I got a root salad, tofu strips, kimchi, and coconut curry noodles. The root salad, kimchi, and tofu strips were exactly as listed--not exciting but exactly what I asked for (though kimchi honestly tasted like a lot of sugar was added). The curry noodles were delicious, but very heavy.

So it was good food especially when I was uncertain about what to eat in the area, but I wouldn't make this a top recommendation.
