Molto buono quasi tutto

Best Sicilian Vegan Experience

There's nothing not to like about this place.

The venue is really cool, very cosy.
The staff are fast and friendly.

The food however really steals the show, everything tried there is incredible; starters, mains & desserts.

All for an incredibly low price too.

This place is fantastic, and a must visit for vegans in Palermo.

Pros: Incredible Food, Cool Atmosphere , Great Price

A must visit for vegans

I think this is the only fully vegan place in Sicily so you have to visit. It doesn’t disappoint. We had the creamy pasta and the pistachio pasta. Both were good but The pistachio pasta was heaven. If we have longer then we would go back. Great tiramisu too.

Pros: Great vegan food

Cons: More expensive than most but worth it

Buon cibo

The perfect vegan place

This is the perfect restaurant for a vegan, Sicilian dinner, cocktail or just some sweets. They veganize local dishes - exactly what we were looking for in Sicily. But they also have amazing Burgers and a cocktail menu. Also the interior looks stylish and the staff is very alert and friendly.
Atipico is also a 100 percent plant based

Wonderful!

We had such a great meal here! For starters, we ordered a mixed plate of 2 arancini (contrasting and flavorful, especially the smokey cheese one), cashew cheese sticks, onion rings, fries, and skewers. Separately ordered were sauces to go with it: we got spicy mayo and a deliciously smokey BBQ sauce. The skewers tasted like Greek-style grilled meat cooked over hot coals, a flavor which I never thought you could get from soya.

For mains, we went with a classic lasagna (delish and perfect) and involtini which was interesting as it was served on a skewer with a seitan mince filling. The salad served with it was the only bummer of the whole meal because it was made with iceberg lettuce which I personally consider inferior compared to real leafy greens. Iceberg sucks, I dislike how boring it is, and it should not be served in restaurants! 😄

The cheesecake was light in flavor and texture but the thick pistachio sauce on top of it balanced this perfectly. I loved the crumb base too. We also enjoyed some creative cocktails with our meal. By 9pm, the restaurant was completely full (on a Tuesday night). Definitely a must-go in Palermo.

A must in Palermo

Amazing food, so many delicious options for starters, mains, burgers, pasta, dessert, local wine, beer and lots of cocktails. The venue is beautiful, an oasis in Palermo, wonderful staff. I can’t find anything to dislike about aTipico. I went twice. Day one I had the carbonara with smoked tofu “bacon”, a local dry white wine, and pistachio and chocolate cake. Day two was the vegan marinated soy “beef” skewers, and ravioli with tomato sauce and lemon zest, and local beer. Day one was amazing, but day two was probably one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. Can’t recommend this place enough. I might even go back a third time.

Great Selection of Italian Dishes and Street Food

I‘ve seen this restaurant in a YouTube video and they seem to have moved in the meantime. It‘s cozy, but rather big now and merged with a vegan bakery.

I‘ve had the cheesy sticks, which were made out of almond and cashew cheese - they tasted incredible! The Tofish & Chips were fantastic. The fries were perfectly crispy and fluffy on the inside, the beer batter of the tofish was immaculate and the subtle aquatic taste from the nori was just right. I really dislike vegan fish, which can sometimes taste way too fishy. This was not the case here!
The carbonara a friend had was a little too eggy tasting from the kalamak salt.
The vegan cheesecake was good, but I have to admit, that I‘ve had better.

The selection of cocktails is very creative and diverse. I‘ve had the mezcal mary, which was wonderful.

Overall I‘ve gotten the impression that they don‘t use ready made alternatives like highly processed meat alternatives or vegan cheeses with a lot of additives, which I really like. Portion sizes and prices were incredible!

Great food, nice desserts

We ate here several times in Palermo. The food was excellent, and it opened earlier and more reliably than any other of the vegan and vegetarian restaurants listed on Happy Cow. I especially liked the Seitan Involtini. The mixed appetizer with Arancini and skewers for two people was also great. It’s a meal in itself.

aSurprise

Yes, because until recent there was really only one vegan restaurant in town, or at least only one worth to mention. Now things are getting interesting with the new kid in town. Traditional Sicilian cuisine veganized. They serve classics like lasagne and tiramisù, but also caponata and involtini which are specific from this region/town. Loved everything I've tried. Very central so definitely worth a visit!

Sensazionale!

Squisito.

Unmissable if you are in Palermo

You can’t miss this place.
Nice restaurant, in downtown, fully vegan menu. I’ve been there to celebrate my birthday and all my non vegan friends couldn’t believe vegan food could be so tasty! And indeed it was delicious. I will go there every time I’ll be in town.

Best Choice

Found this restaurant near my hotel during a business trip, so i gave myself a wonderful vegan dinner. Menu offers italian dishes revisited in vegan way, staff is very gentle and service is fast. I ordered Arrosticini, five soy morsels skewers flavoured with Mediterranean aromas and baked in the oven, then Tofush & Chips, deep fried seaweed fowered tofu coated in crunchy beer batter, served with fries, homemade mayo: both were super! Finished my experience with delicious a chocolate cake slice! I will come back for sure.

AAA: abbiamo amato aTipico

Voto 10. Ah no, il massimo è 5. Allora voto 5
