DIY Bowls - Edit
Huge variety of choices to choose from! Pick a base and you're good to go. Ordering can be done online from table or the kiosk at counter. Place the bowl on the scale and click weigh. You will receive 2 receipts clip the one with the order number to your bowl and place it at the counter.
Read moreMy favourite broth is herbal and I'd like to add just 4 diced chilli padi. There's a condiment table with sauces like sesame sauce, Mala pepper sauce, peanuts and more add ons. Definitely will be visiting again for the delicious food!

Vegan Tarts - Edit
Second outlet of Ascend Vegetarian, known for their allium-free vegetarian dry or soup mala; there are other soup bases available too. The ingredients available aren’t labelled, but the staff can advise on which soup bases and toppings are vegan (mostly vegan except a few mock meats and egg dishes). This second outlet originally served rice sets but are no longer available (sadly I didn't get to try them). Nonetheless, what stands out to me are the vegan tarts available here! The vegan lemon tart in particular features an impressively buttery crust and creamy tangy filling. Would love to have a return of the rice sets, plus more vegan tart flavours~ Accessible via Telok Ayer MRT or Chinatown MRT; check their Instagram pinned reels for directions!
