Open summer only from around May 20 to Oct 1. Sister restaurant to the Art of Raw in Zagreb, this one is at The Garden Zadar. Main menu is divided into breakfast, savory, sweets and drinks with a variety of raw vegan food. Dishes include spaghetti courgette, spring roles, empanadas, chia porridge, kale chips, carrot vanilla cake and pizza. May not be open when raining. Reported closed June 2021.

A hip lounge like place that sells raw vegan meals that look artsy. Super good but on the small side. Desserts are also good!

Best vegan food I've ever eaten - Edit
I've been to Zadar and was lucky to get to know this place: it was the best vegan restaurant I've ever been to -- we even went back there the other day. We tried the pizza, some noodles and other meals, but the best was for sure the cheese platter (a bit salty, but delicious). All is vegan (I guess the drinks were not) and raw. The place is also very nice, a garden with music, places to sit and to lay, to see the sunset, and they serve very nice drinks.

We loved the location and were happy about the quite special interpretation of dishes and a lot of choice - creative and tasteful! Especially as it was only raw food. We‘d come back! Not as cheap as orther places, but for good food and view completely fair!

Beautiful garden setting but terrible food and indifferent service. We couldn't get our first four choices off the menu as they were unavailable so we ordered the tostada as recommended by the waiter, and the vegan cheese platter. Both looked beautiful and were artfully presented, but the cheese platter in particular was inedible, because it was so salty and strongly flavoured - it was like trying to eat a stock cube. And we love strong salty flavours! Weirdly, they served the cheese platter with just cheeses and three small thin slices of pear, so there was nothing to eat the cheese with. The tostada was unpleasantly flavoured and too strong as well. We really wanted to like this food but we unfortunately couldn't finish it because it made us feel sick.

Tolle Aussicht schlechte Drinks - Edit
Sehr schöner Ort mit einem tollen Blick über den Hafen. Wir hatten zwei Aperol Sprizz und es war mehr Wasser als Aperol in unseren Gläsern. Eher Aperolschorle. Also lieber ein Bier bestellen, die Cocktails sind sicher ähnlich sparsam gemixt.

Good food, not so good service. - Edit
I went here twice in my time in Zadar, while the food was quite tasty and the venue has a nice set up, the service was very poor. The staff kept forgetting parts of our order and did not once come over to check how we found the meal. The next day I went back for dessert, I got the carrot cake, which firstly took a very long time to come out, even though the restaurant was very quite. When I finally got the cake it tasted great, however it was completely frozen in the middle, was as hard as a brick! Again the staff were very reluctant to come to the table and when I said about the frozen dessert, he just shrugged it off. It’s a nice place with good food but the service is letting it down.

We were really looking forward to eating here as everything is vegan. First of all the place looks absolutely great; it had a really good beach vibe to it. We were excited to see the menu with a lot of different ‘savory dishes’. We ordered the pad thai and the tostada. Once the dishes came they looked absolutely amazing! However.. when I took a bite of the pad thai I was shocked. It tasted extremely sour, almost like puke (ecxuse my discusting language). I thought it was maybe my sense of taste. A bit later my partner took a bite and he thought the exact same. It either wasn’t good anymore, or they had made it way too sour. His dish (the tostada) was good though. We went to the waiter and said that we really did not like the pad thai as it tasted like it was expired and went sour. He apologized and said that he sadly couldn’t offer us a new dish as it was our choice to take the pad thai.. which was a bit strange. We then decided to order another dish because we were still hungry. The button mushrooms which we then ordered were good. Luckily. We tried two drinks with our food (the iced vanilla latte and mocha latte) and these were a bit bitter and watery as well. Sadly again a bit dissapointing. So happy that most people had good experience, however we sadly did not.

100% raw and vegan food with a really good view - Edit
This place has such a nice view with really tasty food although by the time we got there (8pm) they had run out of the caprese and the spring rolls, but our waiter recommended other dishes which were delicious! we had the button mushrooms (twice!) (there are only 5) and the tostadas! has a massive selection of alcoholic and non beverages but they used at least 2 straws per cocktail?? I didn’t understand the point of this especially being a vegan place? don’t they consider the marine life?? we had good service though and surprisingly filling food - so I would recommend this place but maybe consider the necessity of your straw

Fomos jantar: tempeh, pad thai, tostada, espaguete de courgette. Espaço muito bom ao ar livre, com uma vista fabulosa! Vimos o pôr-do-sol sol. Quando veios comida foi difícil Beto que estávamos a comer por haver pouca luz... Pratos muito bonitos, saborosos. Na minha opinião, com excesso de molhos....o que fazia com que soubesse tudo ao mesmo.

Delicious Raw Food and Cocktails! - Edit
Our first time eating raw vegan food in a long time and this is special! If you’re in Zadar, make your way there and order some food and cocktails. We sampled a lot of options from the main menu and the bar snacks and it was all fantastic (the Button Mushrooms especially!). We’re going back again tonight for desert it’s that good. We also tried the iced coffees and they’re great too. Get yourselves there if you’re in Zadar in summer 🤤

Good food and pleasantly surprised by the size of the bar snacks - far too many olives and nuts to finish even though we were quite hungry. All prettily served up and tasty. The 'Pizza' was really tasty as were the smoothies.

Absolutely delicious, we had sushi, spring rolls and the mushroom buttons, all were amazing, but pales in comparison to the desserts. Ridiculously good, we had the tiramisu and the chocolate mousse and both were to die for. Best food in Croatia so far! Good service and drinks too. Nice view and a pleasant lounge.

I had dinner here on my birthday and tried the spaghetti dish which was good. My partner had pad thai, but it was drained in so much salty soy sauce he couldn’t finish it. Since it was my birthday we were going to order dessert but after waiting for the staff to take our order for 30 minutes we decided to leave. There restuarant only had a few guests as this point.

I've got to admit that I probably ate here every day during my week long trip to Zadar (whether it was for snacks, mains or drinks!) That was partly down to lack of choice elsewhere, but mosly because of how delicious the food was!
Read moreMenu is full of choice. Really interesting spin that all the options are raw, as well as vegan. Expect fresh salads, veggie noodles and the like. I particularly enjoyed the 'sushi' (which I had twice) and the vegan pizza.
Another massive plus was the cocktails. Ridiculous choice and so good! Try the blackberry press if you like a sweet cocktail with berry flavours.
Only draw back is how expensive it is, and I would say that portions are quite small, which means you end up bumping up costs with having to order side plates or starters.
Oh and another reason I kept going back was for the lounger cushions! Such a nice place to chill with a drink and a book!

It was awesome. First time being in a gentle lounge and on the top, everything is vegan. Well the food wasn't as expected, because you got "empanadas" but it looked different the one I knew from South America. Anyway it was a bit experimental, but delicious.

Raw vegan restaurant with breakfast, meals, deserts and drinks. The place is really nice, spacious, with places to chill out with a view over zadar as its marina! We loved out lunch, we had the spring rolls and empanadas and the taste was amazing! Prices are average for zadar. However they dont open when the weather is the whole thing is out in the open!

Das Lokal ist ein absolutes "must go"! Jedes der rohveganen Gerichte ist ein Traum! Wir hatten das Porridge, die Sushi, die Springrolls, die Pizza und 2 verschiedene Smoothies. Es war einfach ein Traum. Sehr sehr geschmackvoll und lecker, so sehr dass ich endlich den Mut gefasst habe auch zu Hause auf rohvegan umzustellen. Eigentlich wollten wir noch Kuchen probieren, aber wider Erwarten waren die Portionen nicht klein, zumal Rohkost auch eher sättigt.
