Well labeled vegan options and nice people -- but out of the vegan dark chocolate :( - Edit
Several sorbet type options but out of the vegan dark chocolate the day we went. We even tried both locations in town. The staff are friendly and the fruit flavors we had were good.

The basil in the lemon wasn’t really present but still lovely.
I usually don’t like chocolate but this ice cream was quite good, I’d probably avoid a whole cone with just chocolate
Pros: Fresh ingredients
Cons: Not many vegan flavors besides the fruit

We got Aroma twice while in Croatia - once in Hvar and once in Split. I got the dark chocolate both times as it was absolutely AMAZING. I also tried their mango, and their orange, both of which were good as well.

We had the vegan dark chocolate and the lemon sorbet - both were delicious. They are €3.50 a scoop though, which we felt wasn’t exactly worth it.
Read moreThey also offer vegan cones that are packaged individually and opened for customer need. These are also their gluten free cones and will cost you an extra €1.50. So if you’re going here for a vegan scoop in a vegan cone it will put you back €5.
Definitely a good thing to know for gluten free people though.

Aroma is a gelatto chain with stores in many Croatian cities and they have many vegan options. They have many interesting flavour combinations like strawberry with mint, or blueberry with lavender and others. The dark chocolate is rich and creamy - amazing! They taste natural - the strawberry one for example has strawberry seeds in it, which probably explains the price on the higher side (3.5euro per scoop in april 2023).

We went here two times. They have such amazing flavours! Quite expensive but you do get large portions. My favorites here were lemon basil, vegan dark chocolate and strawberry mint. They had different flavours on the two occasions we went.

Had the usual vegan flavors. Smallest cup was 19 Kuna. The ice was VERY sweet and it was a pity that we could only have one flavor in the cup (as it was a lot of ice cream of one flavor then)

Great selection of vegan flavors clearly marked on the menu. Just wish they had vegan cones. Gelateria Marmont a couple of blocks away does have vegan cones if you're anti-cup.
