Deep fried tofu with satay sauce wasn't the best. The satay sauce was a bit too thick. But I dipped the tofu in the satay sauce with vegetables which made it better. The garlic rice and satay vegetables were very tasty

Decent Thai with vegan menu - Edit
Pretty decent Thai food! Ask for the vegan menu. We had deep fried tofu with peanut sauce, the curry and a pad see ew. Cute inside. Great staff. Lovely date night.

Huge serves and tasty food! - Edit
We stopped here on the way from from a roadtrip. Ordered the pineapple fried rice (amazing) and jungle curry which was super super spicy. It's great to see a vegan menu but all the delicious coconut based curries weren't listed on there (which is what I was hoping to order) and I wasn't excited by any of the vegan starters either. It was busy when we went but the food came out pretty quickly and the serves were huge!

Came here after seeing reviews on HappyCow. Asked for the vegan menu upon arriving, and there are a lot of options on it, which is great. The crispy tofu entree is delicious, however as I read the menu closer I noticed ‘egg’ is listed in one of the ‘vegan’ dishes. I doubt they are referring to vegan egg, and when I asked the waitress if that was a mistake/ what it referred to, she was confused and didn’t understand or follow it up with anyone. It kind of got me worried about their credibility and if everything on the vegan menu actually is vegan. I ordered the sweet and sour vegetables with a side of rice and it was really yummy - nice flavours and a filling meal with the rice.

Yep that is worrying! And happens way more often that it should. I’ve found that people constantly think that vegan is vegetarian and gluten free. The ignorance in the world astounds me….

ARANI Thai Restaurant - Edit
Beware. The Gang Paa (Jungle Curry) is not for the faint hearted. It is extremely spicy and more of a soup than a curry. We couldn’t even eat it. However, the rest of the food we ordered was delicious, particularly the Pineapple Fried Rice.
