Apropos

Einige Gerichte können veganisiert werden.
Hatte einen veganisierten Burger. Dieser war ganz lecker und frisch. Außerdem hatten wir noch Spaghetti mit Tomatensauce. Die waren nicht gut. Scheinbar vorgekocht und erwärmt. Man sollte sich an die frischen Dinge halten. Die Salate sahen gut aus. Letztlich toll, dass das Angebot vorhanden ist. Es gibt aber noch Platz nach oben. Leider keine Sojamilch.

Since "Apropos" is the only location in Stade serving vegan food, we went there to eat during our stay. The atmosphere is more like a 90's style pub which can be charming if you are into that. The staff was friendly and helpful, they also asked the kitchen as they couldn't answer a question. Unfortunately the dishes are not that tasty which is due to the using of canned vegetables and convenience products. What's the result is an unpleasant mixture of fresh in-house and tasteless ready meals. I could imagine that the chef is commited with cooking, and the problem might be there's no greater community in Stade for vegetarian or vegan food. So they might have trouble with their storage. But the outcome of this is a shame. At least prices are really favourable.
