Cute place - Edit
Cute location and decor. Food was good. Reminded me of good old home cooked mother's meals. Tofu fried rice was solid but nothing fancy. Was low on salt which can be a good thing if you want to eat healthy. I added some soy sauce to my soup. Complimentary mini vegan soup and salad. Fast service. Yummy vegan dumplings.

Pleasant place - Edit
I visited here with a bunch of Omni friends. This restaurant was quite charming, and the staff was friendly. The menu had some clearly listed vegan items, I share two of them with a friend. The food was quite tasty and well prepared, quite nice overall.

Great little restaurant! - Edit
Been wanting to go here for years. Sunday lunch for 4 people. Finding parking was a slight hassle (ultimately parked 3 blocks away). Not too busy inside (also has outdoor seating). Service was prompt. Food arrived quickly.
Read moreEverything we ate was vegan. Items were clearly labeled on menu. The Tibetian and Thai teas had dairy (could get Thai with coconut milk). We all got something a little different, but the dumplings were my favorite! Price for 4 people was $63, which was very good (but alcohol usually adds to our bill...
The only thing that I would add would be to have some music in the background.
Pros: Quick service , Great food! , Menu variety, clearly labeled
Cons: No alcohol , Music would have added to atmosphere

BEST VEGAN FOOD IN BLOOMINGTON - Edit
I really wish HappyCow would let me give this restaurant five stars. The shogo balay, yellow curry, temo sha tsel with tofu, saag sabji, shogo dumplings, tsel dumplings, tofu kham amdo stew, and the free house salad/lentil soup are ALL vegan!!! The yellow curry and the dumplings are my absolute favorite.

flew straight into an air nomad temple - Edit
i love anyetsang's! it is so so authentic in there, the waitresses wear traditional tibetan dresses and the decor is very cultural. given that there is A LOT of amazing thai and indian spots in bloom, and the chef at anyetsang's is tibetan, i always stick to the tibetan food options. food was absolutely delicious and the service was awesome. vegan and veg options are really clearly labelled, which is lovely.
Read morei forget the tibetan names for everything, but i got the tofu tibetan noodle soup and the cabbage and carrot momo, or dumplings!
couldn't recommend more!

I definitely recommend the shogo momo and yellow curry with tofu! Food is consistently very good. The lentil soup and salad that come with dinner are also a highlight.

Yummy Tibetan Vegan Food - Edit
We went down to visit my sister at IU Bloomington. Usually finding a good vegan place with lots of options in a cuisine I enjoy is hard. This place was really delicious, very good prices and our server was sweet. I love the feel of the place amidst the campus life. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try some yummy Tibetian vegan fold. #Veganuary

Yummy dumplings - Edit
I love dumplings and try them any chance I get (and it's rare to find vegan dumplings). There are 2 vegan dumplings on the menu which I got steamed (I would prefer them pan fried next time) and they came with a dipping sauce. The Shogo Balay (pan fried potato dough patties) were delicious too!

best vegan food in Bloomington - Edit
Vegan items are marked on the menu, which I always appreciate. The yellow curry is fantastic, definitely my favorite thing to order. The Shogo and Shogo Balay Tibetan dumplings are also excellent. This is our favorite place to get a vegan meal in Bloomington.

Okay food - Edit
The food wasn’t impressive. It filled my belly but I wasn’t satisfied at all. The flavor was lacking in both the pad Thai and curry. However the curry was better. Wouldn’t go back.
