Amazing - Edit
I love this place. I’ve only been once but can not wait to return. Almost everything on the menu can be made vegan and the portions are huge. I had the southern fried seitan and it was delicious. Can’t wait to go back ❤️

This is a really good and comparably cheap place to get a big meal in Edinburgh. The burgers are great but what other people had on their plates looked really nice as well.

A different vegetarian - Edit
It’s a different restaurant is you are searching for a traditional vegetarian. The place, decoration, the rest it’s normal, the food it’s good but prefer holy cow or Henderson’s

The best chili bowl - Edit
I came here on a sunday evening because it was one of the only places that was open, I didn't want to eat anything unhealthy, therefore I wasn't to excited, went for the least unhealthy option, the Chili bowl, and OH MAN, it was so good and a total surprise. Loaded with beans and garlic fried black rice, absolutely delicous. Huge portion to, I can't recomend it enough.

I was living in a world of make believe - Edit
There are days when you are fortunate enough to experience places such as this. Paradise Palms itself is a fantastic bar in its own right, then you throw in the Lucky Pig and a tremendous food and drink combination ensues. Highly recommended by Edinburgh Happy Cow Ambassador Craigmc including a guest appearance from the man himself. The three of us ploughed through a mountain of vegan delights including cheesy jack fruit topped fries, battered pickled gherkins and onion rings, mac’n’cheese, crab cakes and a fish fillet burger. It was an ultimate greed fest that resulted in temporary mobility issues due to excessively filled bellies.

I was happy to find this place - Edit
There are a lot of vegan bars where I come from and was happy to find one that had tequila and pinball. However, drinking in the UK sucks, you ask for liquor and then they put a few drops in a timble and charge you 8 quid, this place was no different. Food wise, the fish sandwich was pretty flavorless, and though the fries were good, they didn't give me anything to put on them.

Good but not great - Edit
I've been in the Paradise Palms with my partner for dinner. We had deep fried pickles, Mac and cheese and jackfruit fries (all vegan).
Read moreThe interior is very nice and interesting. I like the dish selection - most of them sounded very interesting, like the deep fried pickles that we just had to try! The food was good but not the greatest. The Mac and cheese for me was missing some flavour - I ate way better in some other places. The staff was very friendly

Great vegan choices - Edit
The menu looks great - veggie and vegan junk food. I wanted the burger but they didn't have those or jackfruit as kitchen were still preparing. I had a hot dog instead. Thin and narrow with thin dill fries. Good overall though bun was a bit dull. Went during fringe so packed and just great to see such a menu in central Edinburgh. ** visited 2018 and had the tofu fish bun which was really nice and buffalo cauliflower which for some reason was doused in two sauces which made it soggy

AMAZING naughty vegan/veggie comfort food - Edit
We had the V. Lucky Nachos, Dirty Fries with pulled jackfruit, To-fish bites(*****), onion rings and tempura veg between three hungry humans. So good, but if you're hoping for a healthy lunch, here's probably not the place (although I think they had a walnut salad)!

Très bien ! - Edit

Amazingly tasty and good quality food (photos don't do it justice). I don't seek out junk food but am glad we went as it's not greasy at all, despite the cuisine - in fact we went back again the next day! The starter (on the specials board) and Lucky Dawg were divine

Good food! - Edit
Paradise palms is great, I really like the venue and so was pleased to discover it does vegan food. Had a really nice burger. I wish they would turn some lights on though, I was there in the middle of the day and it was so dark I could barely see my food!
