Good & Healthy - Edit
After following Annie O’ Love on Instagram for some time and literally drooling every time I would scroll on by, I HAD to make this one of my first stops when I moved to West Ashley. The sandwhich I got grew on me throughout the meal and I would get it again. (I think it was called the Mac Daddy?) Staff was SO nice and the ambiance was very comfy & cozy.
Read moreMy only qualm is that I am a MAJOR sweet tooth. I would happily eat cookies for dinner and am a bit of an aficionado When it comes to deserts. I splurged and tried a few different cookies with HIGH hopes after seeing the delectable chocolate drizzles online, and was a ~little~ sad with what I had. Now, they weren’t bad by ANY means, but I don’t know that in my sweet tooth brain, I would really consider them cookies. They are made from granola, and they taste more like those crunchy nature valley bars than real, fluffy cookies. If I prepared myself for a fancy granola bar experience, I would have been perfectly happy. But for a cookie? They missed the mark.
Will I go back? Probably. There aren’t many fully vegan places in the area and I did enjoy my sandwich and the community feel.
Will I get another cookie? Probably not. I’ll try the cheesecake jar if I can scrounge up enough money for one (or find a friend to go Dutch with me. They’re not cheap!!)
Would I recommend? It’s definitely worth a visit - just make sure in your head that you’re expecting granola on pretty much everything and a very much *health food* flavor palate & vibe.
Pros: Wonderful staff, Large selection of food, Very clean!
Cons: Less of a cookie, more of a granola bar :(, Expensive

Delicious sandwiches and cookies! - Edit
So glad we decided to try this place on our quick trip to Charleston! We tried the chick’n sandwich and spicy avocado sandwich. Both delicious! The chick’n sandwich comes with a “butta” sauce that is very similar to pimento cheese. We were also a big fan of the cookies! Definitely try Cookie Monster’s Cookie of Abundance.

Great new vegan venue - Edit
Today I went to Annie O’s. What a treat! I had never heard of her famous cookies/ desserts she sold at farmers markets. I got the pesto grill cheese sandwich. Awesome! Their sandwiches come with one of their delicious cookies. I can’t wait to go back.
