Oke - Edit
It is nice to find a restaurant with a vegetarian menu section; there are not many in meat loving Cartagena :( ... I tried the tofu and vegetable dish which was oke. On another occasion I had their signature vegetarian paella which was very good. The staff is correct and a little formal. There is an outdoor seating area to the back of the restaurant.
Read moreThe map showing the location on the Happy Cow website is not correct. To find Torre Luna: ask for directions to the Luxurious Santa Clara Hotel. When you stand in front of the main entrance of the hotel, you can see 'Plazuella de San Diego' in front of you. Walk to your right staying on the same side as the hotel. Go into the small street 'Calle Stuart'. Turn left into Calle del Curato. The restaurant is after 700m on your left.

Wonderful - Edit
I would like to give this restaurant 5 stars. They have a separate vegetarian/vegan menu, and the servers are so lovely and enthusiastic about vegan options! All the options we had we're great, especially the lumpia, and vegan chorizo w fried yucca. Great find, especially when it was really hard to avoid queso in many cafes and restaurants we went to. Thank you Anacardos!

Yum!!! - Edit
I have no idea what others are complaining about. This place was spectacular! The faux meats fooled me! I have never been fooled like this before. The staff was super friendly, didnt speak much English or have English menu, unfortunately, but my husband speaks spanish so it was not a problem. But you can easily figure out what most of the vegetarian menu is based off the titles. They know exactly what is in everything and the majority of the menu is vegan. And as for price, I know others complained about it being expensive but we thought it was super cheap. $10 for a fancy entree is amazing to us! It cost us $50 USD for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and a nice tip. I would def go back next time we are in Cartagena!!!!!

Disappointing - Edit
I was recommended to try this place by a friend. After seeing their prices I decided to just have the main meal, no starter. I ordered vegan pesto pasta which was almost £8 and a small bottle of water. The pasta took ages to come out and unfortunately was just average, especially for that price. Also when I went to pay the bill they added 10% without asking which other places I've been to so far do not do.

Large vegan menu - Edit
Friendly service. The owner is vegan and has created a large separate menu of veg options, most (maybe all?) of which are vegan. We had spinach tofu crepes, seitan stir fry, lentil croquettes, soup. All options were very flavorful and delicious. Nice dining room, with a pleasant stylish space.

Great vegetarian food - Edit
This restaurant has better vegetarian and vegan food than a lot of vegetarian restaurants. The food is beautifully presented and tastes good. Many of the dishes have meat substitutes (e.g., Sriram, gluten).

Great option for vegans in Cartagena - Edit
We found this through Happy Cow and figured we would give it a shot. It's a charming place in the Walled City. We walked in and were greeted and sat at our table. The waiter was very knowledgable about what was vegan and what was vegetarian. We ordered the Tempura to start. It was really nicely presented, and some of the best tempura we'd had in a while. We decided to ask the waiter's suggestion and he said the paella was enough for two. We ordered that and it was seriously good. To the point that we ate more than we should have. After dinner, we met the chef who had 6 flags embroidered on his collar. When we asked, he told us he had worked in 6 countries at some really large establishments. Definitely will go back to try more!

Wonderful place - Edit
I would easily give this place fully deserved 5 stars but the system only allows me 4 due to non vegetarian/vegan food served here too. But I love this restaurant so much! They have a separate menu for vegetarians/vegans, they offer so many options and each of them sounds just amazing. I tried soups (taste like made by my mum tbh which is a massive complement), a few of their specialities (ratatouille 🤤) and coming back tomorrow to enjoy crepes or pastas. Seriously, this place has it all! And the staff (literally everyone working here from the chef to waitresses) are so lovely and going an extra mile to make you feel welcomed and cared for. One of my favourite restaurants during all my travels for sure!

Fanatastic Range of Vegan Options - Edit
I've been in Cartagena for a while and can safely say this restaurant offers the best veggie/vegan options. They have a completely seperate vegetarian menu (most of which is vegan), and therefore have ample choice from different international cusines - Spanish, Italian, SE Asian inspired etc. I've been surpised by their menu and keep returning try their barious different options. All of which are consistantly well made, fresh and tasty.
Read moreThere is a pleasant ambience, the service is great and the chef often appears to shake my hand and welcome me. It is head and shoulders the best evening restaurant for vegans if you want a traditional 'sit down' experience as opposed to buying a salad from a 'fast' cafe.
Top marks!

Vegan seitan is so good!! - Edit
Came here with my omni partner and we both loved it! There is a vegetarian menu (with option to veganise). I got the seitan meal and a salad with vegan ham. We sat in their outdoor terrace and it was beautiful with great atmosphere.
Read moreMy partner has a nut allergy but the waiter had good English so we had no issues. He got the vegetarian lasagne which he said was very nice. Reasonable prices for the area around 20k-30k pesos. The wine is also awesome there we got a 10 yr old bottle of red wine and it was 140k pesos (there was cheaper ones).
Great option for those who want a nice night out.

We went there really hungry! Main course complerely suffices - couldn't finish our Paella and Minestone. Were the only guests which felt a little, still had to wait a while. The food was good, not overwhelming though (besides the amount)

in response to some negative reviews - Edit
Si the first thing I want to address is some of the negative reviews here stating that the "vegan options aren't vegan". The problem isn't so much this restaurant, as it is the "veggie cheeses" that exist in Colombia. They are basically the equivalent of "go veggie" cheese in the states. They are advertised as "not cheese", but still have some trace milk products in them. Obviously they should learn this at the restaurant, and I suggested that to them last night, but if you want something vegan, just get no cheese.
Read moreOtherwise, the food was super yummy. The pear salad was good, the pasta with pesto was amazing, and the eggplant tahini dip was great. My mother ordered the lasagna which also looked amazing, but we sent it back because it had the cheese on it. They were very accommodating. Our waiter was very kind. The red wine we got was also delicious!

what I got was NOT vegan - Edit
Was told everything on vegetarian menu can made vegan and that they have tofu cheese to replace cheese in dishes. Ordered lasagna which was alright but no better than a decent ready meal. Halfway though I got skeptical but finished anyway as I figured it too late to complain, but few hours later and my stomach is sure that was not vegan cheese.
Read moreWaiter was nice but stood close by (and it was really not busy) the whole time I was eating so I felt like I was being watched the whole time I ate.
Menú really European with a lot of pasta and a few Chinese inspired dishes, not particularly cheap either. I didn't complain about cheese as I wasn't sure until after so idk if they actually offer vegan cheese or not.
Cons: Was served regular cheese (not vegan) , Not cheap

Nice for dinner, but pricey - Edit
Went there earlier in the evening to avoid the hungry crowds. There were only three parties in the restaurant, service therefore was quick and friendly. You get offered the choice between a meat menu and a vegetarian menu, on which all dishes can be made vegan. Had a starter and a main. Both were tasty vegan options. The restaurant has a nice setting and can be a place for a nice dinner evening.

Feels like a fancy place - Edit
I what impressed me the most about this place was the service, even if the food was pretty tasty. The first question the waiter asked was wether I'd like the "meat menu" or the "vegetarian menu". I've never been asked that before! What a treat to get from a "normal" restaurant. The service continued to be attentive throuhout the meal.
Read moreThey also served a vegetarian daily menu at 15.000 COP. I got that one. I got a delicious juice, a vegetable soup and a main. The main consisted of rice, fried banana, salad and some croquettes (?). I seemed to me to be vegan, but I didn't double-check with the waiter.
The restaurant is a bit really lovely inside. Like an italian bistro. I definitely would recommend it as both as a lunch and dinner option for veggies.

Nice place - Edit
I came here with 2 non-vegan friends and none of us were disappointed. It wasn't the best meal we had in Cartagena but it was still very good. We had one of their vegan appetizers (which I made sure over and over again was vegan haha) to share and I had their Quinoa Risotto which was great. Their portions are a little small and their prices are on the expensive side but the place was very nice and clean and the food was good. This would be a nice place to take a date or for an important event or occasion but not if you wanna pig out haha. Oh, and they accept credit cards. Overall 3.5 stars

as they say in Spanish, horrible - Edit
When you wait an hour for a burger, on a Sunday afternoon when there are 9 people in the restaurant, you wonder what on earth they are doing. And despite the pleasantish decor the food was very very ordinary. And they got the order wrong, and made only a half-assed attempt to fix it. Would never eat there again under any circumstances.
