Vegan Airport Food - Edit
Technically a vegetarian restaurant, however every item can be made vegan or gluten free.
Read moreI had the vegan breakfast sandwich and it had amazing flavor. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu.
Amy’s is located by the Southwest gates.

Probably one of the better SFO options - Edit
The food is pretty solidly in the territory of fast food, even compared to other greasy types of restaurants, but considering a lot of airports barely have a hummus wrap it's still a nice treat to have and hits the spot. It's often my go-to here. Just go in expecting greasy cheap fast food and it probably won't disappoint.

Solid option at SFO Airport - Edit
We grabbed the breakfast sandwich and tender box here on a domestic flight, both were delicious. This is a great convenient spot to get a vegan meal while waiting for a flight. The menu is big although not everything is vegan.

My SFO Staple - Edit
Always have to grab a quick pre-flight bite from Amy’s. I terms of airport food, Amy’s is up there for clear quick vegan options.

Most vegan options in T1 - Edit
I loved this shop, liked everything I tried. The breakfast sandwich was tasty and well seasoned. Also liked the non dairy chocolate shake and cinamon roll. The fridge had convenient ready options including nut butter and jam sandwiches on whole wheat that were perfect and simple. They sell vegan mac and cheese, candy bars and snacks as well.

Chick'n tenders! - Edit
Nice to find a vegan fast food place inside the airport. I went to the one in Terminal B. The service was prettt quick. Got the chick'n tenders combo which came with fries, coleslaw and choice of 2 dipping sauces.

Veggie food inside the airport 😍 - Edit
From the same people who bring us Amy’s frozen food and the Amy’s Drive Thru restaurants in Sonoma County, Amy’s in Terminal 1 at SFO is the place to stop to grab food before your flight. Is it perfect? No. While they’re very vegan friendly, not everything on the menu can be made vegan (I’m looking at you Breakfast Burrito 🫤). I also don’t care for their Chai at all. But they get 5 stars just for running a successful veggie business in an airport! I would grab by pre-flight meal here than any place that serves flesh. Love their veggie burgers!
Read moreI’m very happy that the construction recently completed in SFO now allows walking access between all terminals. Most often my flights are out of Terminal 3, and I used to not be able to access Terminal 1 to buy food at Amy’s. But fortunately, you can easily now walk from Amy’s in T1 to T3’s F gates in about 15 minutes.
Pros: Pretty quick, Decent prices for airport food, Most menu items are vegan or can be made vegan
Cons: Don’t order the chai. It tastes weird

Not up to Amy’s par - Edit
I’ve been to a couple Amy’s before, and enjoyed my food! It’s fast and easy to get a vegan meal. But it makes no sense why my $20 burger and fries (no drink included and no vegan shakes available) took 20 minutes to come out at this SFO location.
Read moreI was the only person waiting for my food for a solid 5 minutes, and I know from past experiences it should be super quick. But then other people ordered and got their food and I was still waiting, so I finally asked and I think they just forgot my order, even though I was the only person standing there for a full 5 minutes. Then, burger was filled with lettuce so it felt like I was eating a wedge salad, and the $6 fries were just the leftover potato nubs.
I am sure a lot of people are grateful for a vegetarian restaurant at an airport, but they can do better and I’ve had better experiences at other locations of this franchise.
Pros: Priced like airport food
Cons: Super long wait for no reason, Bad fries

Great plant based fast food - Edit
I love the plant based chicken sandwich, lentil soup and non dairy shakes. The first place I’ve been to that has agave in the condiment section.

Anything can be made vegan! Delicious comfort food - Edit
This is a fully vegetarian quick service spot with all menu options having a 100% vegan counterpart. In terms of airport pricing the prices are reasonable. The food is made relatively fresh and tastes delicious. They also have special breakfast options, such as the vegan breakfast sandwich which I found to be delicious. I always tend to stop here while in T1. A must for vegans (even if just to check out the menu ! )

Tasty burger and fries - Edit
I ordered the Amy Burger, which is basically a dupe of a Big Mac — vegan dressing included. Very tasty, but feel apart in the hand. Fries were great. My daughter ordered the vegan Mac, it was fine. Definitely needed some seasoning and spicing up. Good texture, but not my favorite. She loved it!😍

outstanding wings - Edit
My experience here was very good. Order came out really quick even though there was a bit of a queue. There could’ve been more flavor in the Mac and cheese chili, I felt like it was missing a punch; still above average good, especially bc it didn’t seem freshly cooked. The wings were absolutely outstanding, so yummy and crispy that it surprised me. Fries were meh. Would come again for the wings for sure.

Just okay - Edit
I passed through here on May 13th, 2025. There were long lines at the counter. Service was efficient. I had an order of chili fries and they were okay. Served rather lukewarm, the soggy clump of fries were topped with a chili that lacks some dimension flavor. It needed something. Maybe onions, garlic, more chile powder... I will say though that I did like this generous serving of beans that was in the chili.
Read moreBy the time you had taxes and fees on to the base charge my small order of chili fries cost about $8.50. It's the airport, so the price is going to be expensive.

Great for an airport ✈️ - Edit
A lot of money and a lot of wait time for a small amount of really good vegan fast food. Located next to gate B6, everything is vegetarian and is also or can be made vegan. I ordered the chick’n tenders which came in a box with four tenders and a bed of potato fries. All of the sauce options, including the ranch and the secret sauce are vegan.

Great airport fare - Edit
Love that almost everything can be made vegan, they very clearly label what is gf / organic / etc. It is quite pricey but ultimately you can’t beat this in terms of airport fuel for vegans. The acai bowl was good, if not average-good. The grilled cheese was to die for, I wish I ordered two.

You need a spoon to eat your burger - Edit
My burger was good, but it came with about an inch of lettuce on it and it was literally too big to put in my mouth. I removed the lettuce and ate it, but then my burger disintegrated and stuck to my fingers and I had to eat it in big gulps instead of slowly like I had wanted. They know people are getting on the plane with this, it should be made much less messy. Also, the $12 burger turns into $17 when you add the vegan surcharge, the employee benefits surcharge, tax and tip. That's kind of a lot for a burger.

Cons: Too messy, Vegan surcharge

nice option at SFO airport near “B” gates - Edit
i needed something filling to hold me over for a 6 hours flight. Amy’s double burger, fries, and a vanilla shake was the perfect combo, although next time i will opt for the chocolate shake because the vanilla flavor was noticeably coconutty. be sure to mention vegan for everything you order because vegetarian is the default for most items on the menu.

excellent options - Edit
The gilled cheese within tomato and onions was an amazing dripping cheesy delight. The chili cheeks fries were good. The Mac and cheese was essentially the frozen viz from store, which was disappointing. Strawberry milkshake was okay.

Amy’s SFO - Edit
So stoked to see Amy’s in terminal 1! I’m a fan, I usually get the Amy burger double (ask for vegan). This was my first time at an Amy’s during breakfast hours. The breakfast burrito is vegan by default with vegan cheese and sour cream. Really good, great to have this kind of option in an airport!!

It's all vegetarian or vegan; check out their menu on their website for details.
Read moreI had the spicy chik'n sandwich, which was decent. It's fast food and it's about what you'd expect, though I've had a lot better. Definitely gets the job done and is a blessing in an airport situation.
I was surprised to see so many people ordering from here. I suspect a good portion of them don't realize they are not serving meat.
