Guac and coffee

Well labelled vegan options. I just the guacamole and chips and a flat white with oat milk. They had oat and almond milk available but had run out of soya. Also had a vegan burger (made with whole foods not meat replacement), vegan tacos, and a quinoa salad. Nice view of the lagoon!

Pros: Lots of options, View of lagoon, Vegan milks available

Cons: Building work ongoing

Not good

3 things I tried to order they did not have.
I ended up ordering fries. Which were kind of expensive, 120 pesos, for a small portion. The drink was okay. When paying he overcharged me for the fries and selected himself a 10% tip. I would not go back.

Pros: Lake view

Cons: Touristy, Overpriced

Amazing quiet spot directly at the lagoon

The location marker was in the city, which is not correct. I already sent an update to Happycow, it‘s directly at the lake. The food is very good and the staff was super friendly. I had vegan banana hotcakes, which were a little small, but delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful, sitting under palm trees.

Pros: Marked vegan options, also for breakfast, Amazing atmosphere

An Oasis on the Lake - with great food!

This has become one of my favorite places in Bacalar. The space is beautiful and the people are lovely. They have a decent number of vegan options and what they have is really tasty. Gus, the chef, knows what vegan is and understands the concept which is really nice. The Amura Toast is delicious (add avocado, always), the Quinoa Salad is awesome and the burger is great too. Definitely worth a visit while you’re in town!

Pros: Atmosphere, chill music, Lakeside space , They know what vegan means
