Delicious but casual and expensive

Nearly the only vegetarian option was the prix fixe menu for two, 270 soles. For that price I expected a fine dining atmosphere, but it was casual and loud. The food was delicious, though not up to the price, I guess I'm paying extra to eat stuff I wouldn't get anywhere else. The desert came with ice cream which probably wasn't vegan but the rest of the meal was. The quantity was more than we could eat.

Pros: Delicious food you can't get elsewhere.

Cons: Expensive, loud casual atmosphere

Changed their menu

This place used to have great vegetarian options and even a vegetarian taster menu which was amazing. But went there again and theyve changed their menu - now much less veggie options and theyve been replaced by a new barbeque menu which is, of course, all meat and fish

Mediocre vegan options

I wanted to like this place. Ambience is cool. Very few vegan options. Was told they could make the fried rice dish vegan, but it came with pieces of meat in it. When I pointed it out, they found me a replacement. This restaurant is not your best option if you are vegan.

top dining experience

I wanted to give 5 stars because the vegetarian menu is absolutely fabulous. but to a non vegetarian restaurant I can give maximum 4 stars it seems.
The flavours were very well balanced and nice presentation, with nice pottery. calabazas, banana-leaves.... All dishes are served in the middle of the table, not on a individual plate so you can share. Staff helped us to pick the dishes from the extensive menu. Two of us got the vegetarian menu and another friend choose 2 vegetarian dishes. All of it was very tasty. I think everything was vegan, except for the empanadas, but we didn't really inquire.
dishes were around 50 soles, menu 140 soles/ person

Pros: delicious food, friendly staff. nice decoration

Cons: not all of their menu is on the website, minimum 2 persons for vegetarian menu

Superb prix fixe vegan Option for two

I'm not 100% sure it was strictly vegan ( there may have been some dairy in it), but it was certainly vegetarian, and it was one of the best and most novel meals I've had anywhere (and I travel a lot). I would go back in a heartbeat.

Pros: Novelty, Sophisticated
